My professor wants to “meet with me to discuss my sources” for a rough draft. I cited Charles Murray and Robert Putnam. So this should be fun.

I got falsely accused in college and it was one of the worst things I ever went through. I talked to my big in my fraternity about it and it ended up with me being suspended per alumni decision. They gave me info for a lawyer who wanted 40k immediately and recommended I drop out of school because I would most likely be expelled and it would go on my record.

I chose not to hire the lawyer or drop out. Luckily the accusation never went anywhere. I’m not sure how. Because I knew for a fact that school employees knew about it because I consulted my RA and at that point it had to go to title 9. Her friend told me she was already in the middle of another accusation

I remember it being quite stressful indeed. But I’ve separated myself mentally from the ordeal that I can’t even imagine it anymore, and have a sort of “that could never happen to me” idea

@Deleted User that’s a pretty brilliant take. Many people in our movement are starting to peel back the left arguments in these ways. Allsup was saying one of their main techniques is to try and shame and emotional outbursts.

We need to learn to articulate our position beyond fact - humans are illogical - feels are most persuasive.
