They have to deny the most elementary aspects of navigation, such as compass, or where the sun rises and sets, in order to claim the boat got turned around or something.

But I honestly think they're just larpers, pretending to be retards.

I could say "yeah, rape is morally wrong", but that won't stop rape. Rape is just a part of nature, and whether or not you think it's "morally wrong" doesn't matter. Because rape is just a fact, something which happens. If I were to say that I don't want it to happen, it's just as much my own emotional decision to say that as the rapist thinks it's his own emotional decision to do it; because there's no authority but yourself. Because there's no objective morality, which is just an objective statement which you can arrive at yourself if you realize morality is a social construct - then you can realize that deciding to rape someone was never a logical decision, just as much as saying you don't want to be raped is a logical decision; it's an emotional decision. It may be a fact that emotional decisions happen, but you can only say that people do or do not want to be raped; you can't derive an is from that aught, as the philosopher Hume might say.

YOU CAN'T REACH THE EDGE BRUH

2017-11-21 15:53:23 UTC

THERE'S AN ICE WALL

2017-11-21 15:53:30 UTC

AND THE GOVERNMENT **WON'T LET YOU REACH IT**

2017-11-21 16:06:52 UTC

Saw on /r/space that since he's using steam to power his "rocket" he won't actually get very high(A ceiling of 2 miles, generously considered), so he's probably just going to confirm his own bias if he even gets off the ground

2017-11-21 16:23:31 UTC

It's more likely it leaks into the cockpit and it turns into a very, very hot sauna.

2017-11-21 16:27:15 UTC

Reminded me of the stories of me163 test pilots being dissolved by t-stoff propellant leaking into the flight cabin

2017-11-21 16:28:53 UTC

Scenes of jubilation in Salisbury, the capital of Zimbabwe.

2017-11-21 16:32:11 UTC

Ok, so he apparently already flew one of his rockets once.

2017-11-21 16:32:29 UTC

Look at all those holes in the parachute.

2017-11-21 16:32:32 UTC

2017-11-21 16:32:36 UTC

r/madlads

2017-11-21 16:34:03 UTC

The article mentions that; but it also says he collapsed after landing and took three days to recover

2017-11-21 16:34:14 UTC

speedholes bruh

2017-11-21 16:34:18 UTC

don't believe in science

2017-11-21 16:35:05 UTC

*Watches video*

2017-11-21 16:35:07 UTC

Gravity is just a theory, after all.

2017-11-21 16:35:19 UTC

I didn't think GoPros had a '10fps' setting

2017-11-21 16:35:50 UTC

Yeah, it's fishy that he doesn't have footage from the outside. Could just have been a model rocket or something.

2017-11-21 16:36:09 UTC

What's all the white shit flaking off of it?

2017-11-21 16:36:22 UTC

2017-11-21 16:36:24 UTC

2017-11-21 16:36:38 UTC

2017-11-21 16:36:48 UTC

2017-11-21 16:36:58 UTC

but I thought he would've eaten all of them

2017-11-21 16:37:20 UTC

holy fucking shit

2017-11-21 16:37:27 UTC

did he purchase that parachute second-hand?

2017-11-21 16:37:53 UTC

There's a lot of material flying off the thing indeed.

2017-11-21 16:38:23 UTC

More like he went dumpster diving for the parachute.

2017-11-21 16:38:28 UTC

"His future plans include an excursion into space. He and Stakes have already brainstormed on a “Rockoon,” which is a rocket that, rather than being immediately ignited while on the ground, is carried into the atmosphere by a gas-filled balloon, then separated from the balloon and lit. This rocket will take Hughes about 68 miles up."

TWO-STAGE SPACE ROCKET PROGRAM, BAYBEYY

2017-11-21 16:39:27 UTC

I've seen better KSP rockets

2017-11-21 16:39:43 UTC

2017-11-21 16:39:46 UTC

2017-11-21 16:40:07 UTC
