brazil had a carrier
"On 14 February 2017, the navy announced the ship's demobilisation and subsequently decommissioning.[1]
"
So, what led me to my prediction is, Brazil's institutions appear quite weak right now... everyone and their dog is involved in a corruption scandal stinking of organized crime.
So I doubt they'd be able to act if Venezuela started expanding their borders.
yeah maybe
I think their border with venzula is unexplore or some shit like that
Brazil is number 13 in the world of military spending
maybe they'll get cannabalized by the tribes livng there
They have some solid police and military forces
ehhh
you mean corrupt police
and military forces
Just because they spend money, doesn't mean it's well spent.
Corrupt does not mean they could not defend their boarders
They at least have money to spend
actually
they probably could defend themselves from venzuela
venzuela has no money to bribe brazillians with
kek
^
They don't even have shit whipping paper
or food
Do they have no money though? The people got no money. I don't think there's no money in the largest oil reserves in the world.
They can barely make any money off of the oil
The us has drivin the price per barrel too far down
"Hey Brazil, we'll let you pump some oil from our ground if you let us move the border in a little."
Their gold is gone
Still doesn't add up to invasion
They can barely keep their own people from revolution
Not really invasion, just annexing some piece of the jungle nobody's using.
That is an invasion
What would they gain from that?
More sanctions
they would gain american war goals
pax americana n shieet
How do other countries there view Brazil? Are they still salty for the stolen land?
I don't think so
I think the only countries with revanchism in South America are:
Argentina wanting falklands + south georgia
