2018-05-08 08:30:16 UTC

I keep missing Mass , i dont accept communion because of it

2018-05-08 08:31:22 UTC

I was baptized after birth but because i was atheist and rejected the church for so long do you think it would be good to be baptised again?

2018-05-08 08:31:30 UTC

I should probably just contact my priest

2018-05-08 08:31:43 UTC

Cerno gay lol

2018-05-08 08:32:08 UTC

How did you go from atheist back to Catholic? I grew up Catholic but lost religion by the time i was 13 but now consider myself agnostic

2018-05-08 08:32:39 UTC

I never considered myself catholic or christian

2018-05-08 08:32:49 UTC

Even though i was baptised

2018-05-08 08:33:00 UTC

Well of course until now

2018-05-08 08:33:02 UTC

I'd like to believe though, actually going to a protestant church with a friend on Sunday

2018-05-08 08:33:07 UTC

For the past two years

2018-05-08 08:33:30 UTC

I went to a prot church and while i liked the people they had a band playing and shit

2018-05-08 08:33:34 UTC

Couldnt bare it

2018-05-08 08:33:43 UTC

I know the preacher though, very good man

2018-05-08 08:34:01 UTC

We all need confession. I miss mass too;but we need to recognize this and correct our course. Regarding a second baptism, you were already instilled with the graces given at baptism. No, no "re baptism" is necessary, unless you believe it to be illicit (not in the Trinitarian formula). Go to your priest for confession, no matter what he does during mass, he's able, by the grace of God, to absolve sins.

2018-05-08 08:34:17 UTC

organ >>> band

2018-05-08 08:34:53 UTC

I have so much to confess tbh, my sins are daunting over me

2018-05-08 08:35:09 UTC

The reasoning behind it was never accepting the church in the first place but i will see

2018-05-08 08:35:28 UTC

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23.

2018-05-08 08:35:35 UTC

We are all sinners.

2018-05-08 08:35:52 UTC

Confront them and confess them. Be absolved of them and be truly sorry.

2018-05-08 08:36:32 UTC

At this point now I cannot imagine not being Catholic

2018-05-08 08:37:25 UTC

How else do you learn of the blessing of Our Lord CORRECTLY, i have been to so many prot churches and man they are all over the place with their teachings

2018-05-08 08:38:23 UTC

The treasury of truth lies with Peter, brother. Be assured, and as Our Lord said, "The gates of Hell shall not prevail" against her.

2018-05-08 08:39:36 UTC

Matthew 16:18 affirms us forever. Be of good cheer, and pray. Go to confession. We all need absolution.

2018-05-08 08:40:08 UTC

I have yet to see a prot church with confession

2018-05-08 08:40:13 UTC

What is up with that?

2018-05-08 08:40:26 UTC

Do lutherans and the likes not believe in it?

2018-05-08 08:40:36 UTC

Or do they think you can confess in your head

2018-05-08 08:40:54 UTC

I was raised Episcopal, we had a sort of confession.

2018-05-08 08:41:08 UTC

Sorry for the questions im not super in the know on some of these things

2018-05-08 08:41:20 UTC

The primary reason they don't have confession is that none of the clergy has the right to absolve.

2018-05-08 08:41:57 UTC

If just anyone could absolve, what then would be the value and price of sin?

2018-05-08 08:42:24 UTC

The price of sin is death. Not just anyone but the person of Christ can pardon that.

2018-05-08 08:42:46 UTC

And the priest acts in that Person.

2018-05-08 08:43:28 UTC

In that act, he gives the pardon of Christ. Seek Confession.

2018-05-08 08:44:04 UTC

Well said

2018-05-08 08:44:31 UTC

I have no reason not to go to confession next weekend, need to clear my head of my worries

2018-05-08 08:45:25 UTC

Be assured of my prayers, brother. And I ask, in your charity, you pray for me. We shall lift high the cross together.

2018-05-08 08:47:28 UTC

Thank you man, i will pray
