Popes have said before that the antendees of the church are catholics through and through its just their church itself they have grave issue with

2018-05-08 08:19:00 UTC

They dont see it as a valid mass pretty much

2018-05-08 08:19:39 UTC

The issue is about the original bishops; they are valid but illicit.

2018-05-08 08:19:43 UTC

Even though it is the mass that was excersized for the entirety of the church before the introduction of novus ordo

2018-05-08 08:20:30 UTC

They take issue with the bishops made by Lefebvre.

2018-05-08 08:20:38 UTC

Have you researched the reasoning behind novus ordo

2018-05-08 08:20:47 UTC

Yeah of course since he was excommunicated lmao

2018-05-08 08:22:56 UTC

I have researched it, which is the primary reason why I left seminary. I couldn't, in good faith, dedicate myself to that I felt any sort of doubt in. At that time when I was 17, I had doubt. Lefebvre was an excellent bishop, he served long and true. He fell short in the end.

2018-05-08 08:23:50 UTC

We should pray for him.

2018-05-08 08:25:34 UTC

The fact that they changed to become more protestant is completely against all the teachings of the church before hand

2018-05-08 08:25:52 UTC

Who changed?

2018-05-08 08:25:57 UTC

What church do you attend? Or what kind of church

2018-05-08 08:26:22 UTC

One that is fully in communion with Rome and the diocese.

2018-05-08 08:26:50 UTC

I have doubts that the new mass is truly a projection of what christ wanted in the church, while I have my doubts I must still accept the validity of the Church

2018-05-08 08:26:58 UTC

But it is difficult

2018-05-08 08:27:54 UTC

Sedecavantism was appealing at first but after researching it isnt a leap i am willing to take or one i believe as true

2018-05-08 08:27:58 UTC

We all have these doubts, and Summorum Pontificum validates our need for true worship. We need to persevere and bloodlessly martyr ourselves.

2018-05-08 08:28:16 UTC

Penance is the answer.

2018-05-08 08:29:06 UTC

Penance must always be the mantle we accept.

2018-05-08 08:30:12 UTC

Cernovich followed me on twitter, not sure about that

2018-05-08 08:30:16 UTC

I keep missing Mass , i dont accept communion because of it

2018-05-08 08:31:22 UTC

I was baptized after birth but because i was atheist and rejected the church for so long do you think it would be good to be baptised again?

2018-05-08 08:31:30 UTC

I should probably just contact my priest

2018-05-08 08:31:43 UTC

Cerno gay lol

2018-05-08 08:32:08 UTC

How did you go from atheist back to Catholic? I grew up Catholic but lost religion by the time i was 13 but now consider myself agnostic

2018-05-08 08:32:39 UTC

I never considered myself catholic or christian

2018-05-08 08:32:49 UTC

Even though i was baptised

2018-05-08 08:33:00 UTC

Well of course until now

2018-05-08 08:33:02 UTC

I'd like to believe though, actually going to a protestant church with a friend on Sunday

2018-05-08 08:33:07 UTC

For the past two years

2018-05-08 08:33:30 UTC

I went to a prot church and while i liked the people they had a band playing and shit

2018-05-08 08:33:34 UTC

Couldnt bare it

2018-05-08 08:33:43 UTC

I know the preacher though, very good man

2018-05-08 08:34:01 UTC

We all need confession. I miss mass too;but we need to recognize this and correct our course. Regarding a second baptism, you were already instilled with the graces given at baptism. No, no "re baptism" is necessary, unless you believe it to be illicit (not in the Trinitarian formula). Go to your priest for confession, no matter what he does during mass, he's able, by the grace of God, to absolve sins.

2018-05-08 08:34:17 UTC

organ >>> band

2018-05-08 08:34:53 UTC

I have so much to confess tbh, my sins are daunting over me

2018-05-08 08:35:09 UTC

The reasoning behind it was never accepting the church in the first place but i will see

2018-05-08 08:35:28 UTC

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23.

2018-05-08 08:35:35 UTC

We are all sinners.

2018-05-08 08:35:52 UTC

Confront them and confess them. Be absolved of them and be truly sorry.
