they focus on out breeding rather then being picky

2018-03-24 01:19:30 UTC

Wonder if they can pass that knowledge on to their spawn

2018-03-24 01:19:43 UTC

those types of places are always diaper zones around here. people just trash fishing spots that are close to the city

2018-03-24 01:19:48 UTC

Cause they've been like that for years in that little pond

2018-03-24 01:20:03 UTC

@Deleted User Oh yeah, but the bluegills eat everything the geese won't

2018-03-24 01:20:21 UTC

People will feed the geese and crumbs will get eaten by the bluegills

2018-03-24 01:20:37 UTC

take a orange beed place it between 2 pieces of worm and i bet you ten bucks your will out fish 10 people at that spot

2018-03-24 01:20:45 UTC

Bluegills win, everyone steps in goose shit

2018-03-24 01:20:54 UTC

I have to use a net for them, honestly

2018-03-24 01:21:03 UTC

Faster than waiting 20 minutes each

2018-03-24 01:21:14 UTC

And it's catch and release there anyways

2018-03-24 01:21:39 UTC

they think it's a night crawler came up from below they hit it almost as soon as it hits the water

2018-03-24 01:21:59 UTC

i'll have to try that sometime

2018-03-24 01:22:12 UTC

huh

2018-03-24 01:22:29 UTC

Well, beats getting wet trying to net them

2018-03-24 01:22:36 UTC

I'll give that a shot later this year

2018-03-24 01:23:13 UTC

I'm getting sick of the Snappers going after my feet when I try to net a fish

2018-03-24 01:23:15 UTC

I usually try for catfish around here though, throw out a couple lines and relax for a while.

2018-03-24 01:23:20 UTC

They're getting aggressive lately

2018-03-24 01:23:30 UTC

Yeah, catfish are good sports

2018-03-24 01:23:30 UTC

sooo glad we dont have many snapping turtles out here

2018-03-24 01:23:43 UTC

those things scare the shit outa me

2018-03-24 01:23:45 UTC

I'll send you one if you want to pay the air fare

2018-03-24 01:23:54 UTC

Like a foot wide big enough?

2018-03-24 01:24:00 UTC

i've gotten a few while catfishing

2018-03-24 01:24:10 UTC

Aw, don't hook em if you can avoid it

2018-03-24 01:24:15 UTC

I always feel bad

2018-03-24 01:24:32 UTC

they just find it in the water

2018-03-24 01:24:40 UTC

i dont really want them

2018-03-24 01:24:57 UTC

I try not to fish near them

2018-03-24 01:25:02 UTC

Or I switch to the net

2018-03-24 01:25:21 UTC

But most of them are too big and old to get "caught" either way

2018-03-24 01:25:32 UTC

Liable to pull you in if you hooked one

2018-03-24 01:25:48 UTC

i caught a catfish when I was a kid and before i hauled it up my brother warned me it has a defensive mechanism, and i fell for it thing cries just like a baby

2018-03-24 01:26:00 UTC

lol

2018-03-24 01:26:06 UTC

I had one stick me with the fin once

2018-03-24 01:26:10 UTC

Never again

2018-03-24 01:26:13 UTC

i fish in a pretty big river, so it doesnt happen that often, but if i leave bait in the water when catfishing, they will find it sometimes and get hooked

2018-03-24 01:26:15 UTC

they dont sting up here

2018-03-24 01:26:23 UTC

Lucky

2018-03-24 01:26:29 UTC

Gotta grab them by the tail near me
