I had one in college. He made everyone build a CPU in an entry level course with VHDL. I of course actually completed it with flying colors. The entire class complained and he canceled the project the day it was due

so I got some crappy extra credit for it

I should've complained to the Dean actually

but i never did

it was way too hard for an entry level course
