Look at the labels next time you go to a Russian store, everything is "Product of Latvia"

2018-10-17 03:40:49 UTC

@Sam Anderson Were English/Irish/Scots/French who came to America in the first wave based?

2018-10-17 03:40:49 UTC

it's really weird

2018-10-17 03:41:09 UTC

Is it just cheaper than other countries to get from Latvia @Jacob ?

2018-10-17 03:41:16 UTC

@Jacob I wonder if there's some trade deal thing that incentivizes that.

2018-10-17 03:41:17 UTC

" A nation for white men of good character " I'de say that's about based incarnate

2018-10-17 03:41:18 UTC

Yes, but Ukraine is an anomaly @Nemets

2018-10-17 03:41:21 UTC

BLUE microphones are from Latvia

2018-10-17 03:41:25 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN Well they went over and colonized, instead of being menial laborers, so yes.

2018-10-17 03:41:35 UTC

.... why Latvia

2018-10-17 03:41:37 UTC

Okay well conquered

2018-10-17 03:41:49 UTC

@Asatru Artist - MD You'd think the cheapest countries to get it from would be the poorer ones, and, as far as I know, Latvia isn't particular poor as far as Eastern European countries go

2018-10-17 03:42:03 UTC

@ophiuchus dude I have no idea
they literally imported *bread* from Latvia

2018-10-17 03:42:09 UTC

Hahaha

2018-10-17 03:42:10 UTC

@Sam Anderson which involved quite a bit of labor. But if you're making a "they did it without welfare" type point, then okay.

2018-10-17 03:42:14 UTC

@Nemets I think they're usually run by Ukrainians in my area

2018-10-17 03:42:24 UTC

It’s really not. Latvia and Estonia are easily some of the wealthier Eastern European countries

2018-10-17 03:42:26 UTC

Why haven't the Eastern European countries pulled themselves out of poverty? @Jacob Any ideas?

2018-10-17 03:42:42 UTC

I’m gonna import flour from the Vatican

2018-10-17 03:42:47 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN They came over to do their own thing really. They did not come to be the next generation of HVAC guys, they came to take land for their own people.

2018-10-17 03:42:56 UTC

@Asatru Artist - MD A massive reason for that is brain drain. Part of the reason I'm so anti-immigration is because it harms my ancestral homeland.

2018-10-17 03:42:58 UTC

Maybe it's harder for non-coastal cities to be self-sustaining

2018-10-17 03:43:33 UTC

@Sam Anderson Okay, so you cite a modern trade. Were none of the British/Irish colonists the 1700s equivalent: blacksmith, cobbler, cooper?

2018-10-17 03:43:57 UTC

I have like. No idea what Eastern European culture is like, really. At a micro level. I made pierogis once. They’re based.

2018-10-17 03:44:12 UTC

I don't blame people for TRYING to find economically better situation. Whether they should be ALLOWED to by other countries, is, of course, a different situation.

2018-10-17 03:44:22 UTC

People will always try to do what's best for themselves.

2018-10-17 03:44:31 UTC
2018-10-17 03:44:33 UTC

No matter the consequences.

2018-10-17 03:44:37 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN They came to make their own societies. Its not like they came to try an monopolize steel while living with Native Americans who did not have it. They came to take the land and make their own societies.

2018-10-17 03:45:07 UTC

But I don’t wanna go to Kiev

2018-10-17 03:45:22 UTC

I don’t speak a word of Ukrainian

2018-10-17 03:45:35 UTC

@Sam Anderson Okay, there is a distinction with the depopulated / uncivilized land. I just have some sympathy for former Warsaw pact countries, being whites, and them having lived under Communism.

2018-10-17 03:46:54 UTC

Huh

2018-10-17 03:47:27 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN To be honest, I do have a bit against it

2018-10-17 03:47:41 UTC

Wish I had more time in Europe in a few weeks, I’d consider going over there

2018-10-17 03:47:45 UTC

Poland would be great if no one left

2018-10-17 03:47:53 UTC

Yeah there's something soul-hollowing about abandoning your nation

2018-10-17 03:48:11 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN The initial model of the EU before it tried to civilize the whole world, was to uplift poor European countries. This worked before this whole GloboHomo trend of bringing in the Global South because we failed to civilize them via colonialism.

2018-10-17 03:48:32 UTC

@Jacob The EU and UK are responsible for facilitating it. Like the US is responsible for permitting Mestizo invasion (permitting by not stopping it).

2018-10-17 03:48:48 UTC

partially, yes

2018-10-17 03:49:19 UTC

If European emigrants would genetically be predisposed to low ethnocentrism why is it that white Americans lean more "racist" than say, the English, even the English in London
