If I were to start calling anyone to the left of me a Communist, then eventually I'm going to start seeing Communists *e v e r y w h e r e* and, not only that, many people whom are *not* Communists will see me calling people with 'reasonable' opinions as Communists, and conclude "welp, guess I'm a Communist too then, they seem pretty reasonable *and* there's a lot of them"

And a decent chunk of *them* will start making the trip towards *actually* becoming *actual* Communist proponents
