That's why we turn down a number of applicants too.

Something like 10-15% of applications are accepted. We really do a very thorough job of vetting people. The interviewers are awesome at this stuff

Wew, we should probably put a disclaimer about the interview on the application form. But if someone is too scared or too disorganized to reply to an email, they probably shouldn’t be in IE

Yeah, that makes sense. But I had someone asking me yesterday if they’d have to submit a picture of them self. They weren’t sure if they’d have to do an interview or what

Tell them to apply and find out for themselves.

We want to weed out extremists, infiltrators, and anyone who is not well adjusted. I expected a lot more questions when I was interviewed, but it really depends on what vibes the interviewer gets
