@vapefruit The problem with Linux (from a Redhat 7.3 to modern Ubuntu user) is that Linux constantly breaks things that were working. It is a lot better than 10 years ago, but recently I was afraid to use apt-get ugrade on my machine because I knew something important would break for my dev setup. In the end I imagine the machine and decided to deal with the fallout
And know the basics of how a (L)Unix system works.
@EmEm are you Linux fan?
No
i suck at coding
i can do a blue webpage
But thats it
@Deleted User you get the same with windows 10 now
il just use windows as its ez
thats sad.
but you are a gamer and normal user, so I can understand it.
@vapefruit NOPE! I haven't had an application break in over 15 years mate as long as it was using the proper Windows APIs
@Deleted User that's great, I wish I could say the same.
@vapefruit also I've used other unix system like FreeBSD and OpenBSD which don't have massive regressions
My parents use also Windows.
mv * /<#423219052849397773>
Are they gone?
@vapefruit what applications didn't work, because I hear this claim and 99% of the time they are applications that assumed they were running on a certain version of windows or they are games ... which do the same thing
*Popcorn*
@EmEm
Weak bait
Mac OSX is fine, but Apple is milking you.
oh trust me
it works
See'
Lol
It is based on BSD afaik.
@EmEm I use a mac most of the time.
@Deleted User that's usually the problem with them breaking
It actually worked, congrats for it
@Deleted User we had a lot of cams break due to the windows anniversary update.
I think Apple charges you like 2 times the price just for being an Apple product
But you get a nice touchbar.
a friend bought the new iphone
1.2k euros
i also bought a new phone, 90 euros
what? I will never spend more than 500€ on a phone.
does the same shit
I'm including the touch bar in the price. It still costs 2 times it's worth
