Sam Harris (yeah I know Jewish) has some interesting content on how he thinks free will does not exist because of some esoteric biological and neurological reasons. Idk how on board I am with that but its a newish perspective.

I agree with Sam Harris' take on free will but do not discount the possibility of some x factor of freedom by some unknown mechanism

@Ald often reasoning is downstream from values. In explaining your worldview, what are the things you would say you value?

I think the amount of free will varies greatly from person to person, some have little to none while others have a lot. Too much free will might actually be confusing.
