Environmentalism isn't going to win elections

2018-11-07 19:01:11 UTC

People like Tucker Carlson and Anne Coulter know exactly what they're doing. They exist to nudge people further to the right. One thing that was actually a big whitepill for me recently was realizing that these people are using talking points that would have been "white nationalist" talking points a few years ago. The reason they're allowed to do this now is because they have people like us that make them look more moderate.

Also, we need someone to push the edge of the Overton Window. As great as Tucker Carlson types are, if America just stops at Tucker Carlson, we'll still become a minority. There needs to be people who promote something further right in a civilized, non-spergy way. @Kingfish

It's not that important of an issue outside academic liberal groups

2018-11-07 19:01:56 UTC

Environmentalism is a hugely important issue

2018-11-07 19:01:57 UTC

That is what I mean, what do I have in common with a Republican who loves race mixing and hates the environment and wants to let Big Tech corporations bevome the Panopticon because stopping their oligarchy would somehow be "socialist"?

2018-11-07 19:02:15 UTC

To you, maybe

2018-11-07 19:02:17 UTC

Not to most of America

2018-11-07 19:02:26 UTC

It's red meat for a left wing base that we don't have

2018-11-07 19:02:27 UTC

We can be that without yelling about race and crime statistics and making everyone hate us

2018-11-07 19:02:31 UTC

I mean outside of politics, it matters that the Earth and its creatures are being poisoned

2018-11-07 19:02:41 UTC

@Patrick People like clean air and water.

2018-11-07 19:02:45 UTC

We can be a vanguard for a radical right wing populist movement that very clearly is pushing long term pro white goals

2018-11-07 19:02:55 UTC

These pro white goals can be achieved implicitly

2018-11-07 19:03:00 UTC

At least for the short term

2018-11-07 19:03:13 UTC

It's long past time to be somewhat explicit about race

2018-11-07 19:03:19 UTC

At least

2018-11-07 19:03:30 UTC

Not saying down the line that will change, I’m saying currently the hand we are dealt is being pragmatic and working the floor

2018-11-07 19:03:30 UTC

America has the cleanest air in the world, and we can keep it without stupid planks like gas taxes that hurt the working class so suburbanites can virtue signal about their "carbon footprint"

2018-11-07 19:03:52 UTC

Environmentalism is green on the outside, and red when you open it up and look at the specifics

2018-11-07 19:03:59 UTC

Our guys absolutely focus too much on race and crime stats and race and IQ stats. I think we agree on that. @Kingfish

2018-11-07 19:04:34 UTC

There's no such thing as too much focus on race. How that's presented is another question

2018-11-07 19:04:48 UTC

Nothing else matters if biological existence is not secured

2018-11-07 19:05:20 UTC

Lmao

2018-11-07 19:05:23 UTC

There absolutely is

2018-11-07 19:05:32 UTC

Well if you only talk about race you look weird

2018-11-07 19:05:34 UTC

Because Americans want to hear about safety security and law enforcement

2018-11-07 19:05:42 UTC

At the same time, it's absolutely fundamental that we have people in this debate who are explicit. Both to move the Overton Window, and because if we're not explicit, there will be identitarians left once America is "ready" for it.

2018-11-07 19:05:53 UTC

Not freaking out about race and iq

2018-11-07 19:06:05 UTC

ya I agree with this part ^

2018-11-07 19:06:09 UTC

Taylor likes to say that you can only have one odd aspect of yourself before people start to ignore you

2018-11-07 19:06:33 UTC

95% of the time, race and IQ is counterproductive to talk about

2018-11-07 19:06:35 UTC

We're about half the country at this point. It's kind of time to "freak out"

2018-11-07 19:06:46 UTC

That doesn't mean not to talk plenty about other issues

2018-11-07 19:06:54 UTC

Speaking of clean air, just saw this on Twitter

2018-11-07 19:06:59 UTC

But the most important thing obviously is demographics

2018-11-07 19:07:34 UTC

If you're going to be explicit, be explicit about how diversity effects social cohesion. It's something you can talk about without sounding like you're antagonizing any particular group.

2018-11-07 19:07:37 UTC

You're not going to win people over promising to hike their heating bills, gas per gallon, electricity. The "green" position is almost exclusively the position of academics or people who aren't actually heavily affected by the stranglehold they vote to put on huge sectors of American output and innovation that we're leading the rest of the world on and retaking our sovereignty with. Shale oil is a big example here, it's big and beautiful and Trump has done nothing wrong in freeing it up to expand

2018-11-07 19:08:27 UTC

How long are we going to tolerate *not* explicitly talking about it in zee publik spayze

2018-11-07 19:08:34 UTC

*not* mainstreaming it

2018-11-07 19:08:45 UTC

At 40%? 30? 20? 10?

2018-11-07 19:09:08 UTC

Talk about it with people who you know are receptive to it without getting yourself kicked out of polite society
