the other thing is with modern monetary theory I gonna go out on a limb and say that financial collapse will not happen, maybe a recession, but since a lot of our economy is speculative all of the people in finance have an interest in the system not failing

people at the Pentagon are way too concerned with a Cold War era military industrial complex concept called "Overmatch" constantly competing for superior weapon systems. So being stuck in that mindset is the norm, having spent time in the military they are very good at adapting to some things but unless the Foriegn Policy changes, the military and the military industries priorities won't change

I don't like it and disagree on the usery and speculative nature of our financial system. It will create a bunch of problems, but I think they can keep this going for a lot longer than people think
