I agree but Seeing ourselves as this greater metapolitical body that must become the dominant culture or direct the masses seems a bit off to me.

Maybe instead of "insert" I should have said "be a part of". You should be a part of mainstream culture.

I wouldn't say that politics should be a deciding factor. Your values should be a deciding factor in what you do, and your politics should coincide with your values. You should obviously be taking part in activities for non-political reasons.

Letting politics take over your entire life and mind can be very draining.

It's definitely autistic to let politics dictate everything, and it's something a lot of us need to work on

I still watch football though in free time

There’s literally nothing wrong with tuning out for a minute and enjoying some social time with people without having to tell them about the ethnic makeup of the people who made the movie you’re watching

I honestly need to work on it myself, to be able to hold more meaningful conversations on non political topics

I like my team and I like seeing them win
