USA has major security interests in South America, i.e. South Americans racing for USA's southern border in "invasion" numbers, due to horrible living conditions in their home countries. This is only the most obvious threat. What about disease, agent provocateurs from countries unfriendly to the USA, strategic natural resources in jeopardy of falling into enemy hands or simply being kept from reaching the USA, doctrines inconsistent with "American" (Western Civilization) values, terrorists seeking to imbed into our society for nefarious purposes, flood of unskilled workers competing for our young people's very first jobs (depressing wages) and other illegals receiving "welfare" benefits without contributing to (our) society and currency balances being transferred to foreign countries, theft of identity, drug smuggling, child (and other human) trafficking, evidences that politicians in Mexico have been shipping illegal aliens from their southern border to their (northern) border with the USA, by bus, and train (what next), and private agreements between drug cartels and politicians including, but not limited to, USA national politicians at the highest levels of government and those all along the border states? Can we think of more reasons not to allow unknown and unwelcome strangers from the dysfunctional governments in South and Central America (include populations in the Caribbean , i.e. Cuba) and why our Department of State and the military's Southern Command should be actively seeking to head off unrest in South America, by playing intercessor, seeking to prevent open warfare? So, let me see, thus far we have local, regional, national and international interests in what is happening in the central and southern Western Hemisphere, as it has direct implications on USA security and safety, culture, economy and military posture (ref "Monroe Doctrine"). Seems we should have some presence in South America, after all.

No, what Trump is going thru is not new, only modern; this is one of our country's past experiences: "Let gentlemen recollect the nature of the case [United States vs. Nash alias Robbins], the President of the United States is charged by this House with having violated the Constitution and the laws of his country, by having committed an act of dangerous interference with a judicial decision-he is so charged by a member of this House. Gentlemen were well aware how much the public safety and happiness depended on a well or a misplaced confidence in the Executive. Was it reasonable or right to receive this charge-to receive in part the evidence in support of it-to receive so much evidence as almost every gentleman declared himself satisfied with, and to leave the charge unexamined, hanging over the head of the President of the United States...how long it was impossible to say, but certainly long enough to work a very bad effect? To him it seemed of all things the most unreasonable and unjust; and the mischief resulting therefrom must be very great indeed." Words of John Marshall pages 462-3, LIFE OF JOHN MARSHALL" Volume 2, published in October, 1916 by The Riverside Press Cambridge; Boston and New York, Houghton Mifflin Company. This is the "Storm", at which time the leaders of the world are arrayed against the law of nature and of Nature's God, and against His Stewards, and as against the natural law, which law the Signers of the Declaration of Independence relied upon.

https://www.salemreporter.com/posts/960/hundreds-of-logging-trucks-and-supporters-protest-cap-and-trade-diesel-standards-at-oregon-capitol Loggers and logging trucks made their way from the fairgrounds in Salem to the Capitol this morning to protest two bills – House Bills 2020 and 2007.
A long convoy of logging trucks drove along Court Street honking, while people held signs and cheered.
Traffic backed up into south Salem along Commercial Street SE and Liberty Street SE as more trucks drove toward the Capitol.
By 8 a.m., hundreds of people were on the Capitol Mall, wearing chrome and colored hard hats, suspenders and boots, cheered on by pop songs blaring from overhead speakers. Dozens if not hundreds of semi trucks and pickup trucks with flags and painted messages protesting the bill circled the block, sounding their airhorns.
The Capitol on Thursday was transformed. The business suits were swapped out for camo, cutoff shirts and Three Percenter sweatshirts. Lawmakers were mostly absent as the House was not scheduled to convene, yet the building teemed with more state police than at any point during the legislative session.
When the Senate convened briefly at 9:30 a.m. – not its usual time – semitruck airhorns immediately began sounding, reminding lawmakers that they are being watched. In the gallery above sat loggers and truckers, peering down at the faux floor session that lasted mere minutes, no one expecting any real work to be done. TONS MORE IN ARTICLE
