It could possibly be an IE activity

2018-11-11 08:35:10 UTC

We'd have to be careful not to endorse any candidates, since, let's be honest, an endorsement from IE is gonna be more harm than good in this political climate

2018-11-11 08:35:19 UTC

@Hakujin - CA where are your Northern or Southern in CA, curous

2018-11-11 08:35:31 UTC

@celticflame Southern

2018-11-11 08:35:39 UTC

Ok thanks @Hakujin - CA

2018-11-11 08:36:44 UTC

We could just use really implicit language about how voting affects your childrens' future

2018-11-11 08:36:56 UTC

Spent the day going through clothes to hopefully take to another member up north,up near the Paradise fires.

2018-11-11 08:37:07 UTC

I mean, there wouldn't be much convincing to do. Just hold the drive in a white working class area that's probably right wing anyway.

2018-11-11 08:37:13 UTC

@celticflame That's beautiful.

2018-11-11 08:37:33 UTC

Thanks,i know you guys got hit down there too

2018-11-11 08:37:54 UTC

I have a friend who had to evacuate his family in Thousand Oaks.

2018-11-11 08:38:03 UTC

The whole state is on fire.

2018-11-11 08:38:17 UTC

Oh man. Yes it is unfortunately

2018-11-11 08:39:04 UTC

Hoping more of us can get together in spurts, see what we can do to help others out. Lots of folks

2018-11-11 08:39:47 UTC

So many lost their homes, their whole livelyhood...

2018-11-11 08:40:42 UTC

Anyways will check back later and see what others think.. gonna go to bed. Have a goodnight

2018-11-11 08:40:54 UTC

Goodnight.

2018-11-11 08:42:18 UTC

@Jacob I think some degree of persuasion is always important. I wonder if the same rhetoric would work in the Seattle Suburbs.

2018-11-11 08:43:22 UTC

ehhh

2018-11-11 08:43:29 UTC

Seattle suburbs are pretty liberal

2018-11-11 08:43:33 UTC

and not as white as you think

2018-11-11 08:43:50 UTC

but I mean I'm not against talking to people from there

2018-11-11 08:47:09 UTC

@Jacob For sure. Eastern Washington would be the key. These elections results should only strengthen our resolution. 2020 is an opportunity to throw Doug Jones out with Tina Smith in Minnesota. That last one might be tricky, but outside of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota is very conservative.

2018-11-11 08:48:17 UTC

Yes, Eastern Washington is going to be much easier to get recruits from

2018-11-11 08:48:45 UTC

Because there's no big liberal cultural center that everyone feels the need to conform too

2018-11-11 08:48:50 UTC

Even Spokane County is red

2018-11-11 08:49:02 UTC

Whitman County, which has WSU, is usually light blue

2018-11-11 08:49:34 UTC

I was meeting up there recently with some other IE members, and one of them was getting complemented for his MAGA hat

2018-11-11 08:49:44 UTC

have fun walking about like that in Seattle

2018-11-11 08:50:12 UTC

How did Seattle become so liberal. Pramila Jayapal's district is called the most democratic district with a white majority. Are those people insane?

2018-11-11 08:51:32 UTC

ya basically

2018-11-11 08:51:47 UTC

well, Seattle is one of the whiter big cities

2018-11-11 08:52:02 UTC

by the time they experienced diversity, the brainwashing had already been done

2018-11-11 08:52:06 UTC

that could be why

2018-11-11 08:52:25 UTC

oh

2018-11-11 08:52:40 UTC

also, they get a lot of Asian immigrants as opposed to other kinds

2018-11-11 08:52:51 UTC

and Asians are a bit more likeable than other immigrants

2018-11-11 08:54:34 UTC

That's true

2018-11-11 09:00:57 UTC

I will never understand what's wrong with white men in California. Despite being outnumbered by Hispanics, the majority of them voted for Hillary in 2016.

2018-11-11 09:05:01 UTC

no idea

2018-11-11 09:05:47 UTC

I heard that California voted pretty strong in favor of a law to crack down on illegal alien welfare, too
