Yeah I use separate conditioner
> buying expensive shampoo to please snobby people that complain about my hair
you know I'll just keep doing what I've been doing @VinceChaos
and if your hair is weird and spikey because it's short, use molding wax after the shower
I'm a poor college student I don't have money to please people who find something to complain about no matter what
It’s not gonna be expensive but fair enough
For actual nice shampoo?
@Jacob pretty much any normal shampoo is fine
herbal essences is good
Shampoo ain't that expensive. Even the fancy stuff
Find one that smells good and doesn't dry your scalp out.
oh did I say herbal essences? I meant I use hardcore manly brand shampoo
I mean I've used decent shampoo in the past, I think
Just avoid Axe
don't really understand people who go out of the way to only buy MANLY soap
as if being clean is inherently feminine
recently I've just been using dollar store shampoo because the "better" ones don't make a difference anyway
@ophiuchus I'm a MAN so I need soap FOR MEN
I think many refers to smells but insecure men take it too far sometimes
I GOTTA WASH MY FACE WITH DAWN AND BARKEEPERS FRIEND BECAUSE IM A MAN
@ThisIsChris HES GOT THE UUUUURGE TO HERBAL!
Watch out for that cheap crap though, it can dry your scalp and cause dandruff
I understand why it's sold, I don't understand why it's purchased.
"Why do I have to pay 1 dollar more for pink razors!!!!"
you don't
Marketing to peoples insecurities
It's for......normies
Maybe because there are so few things specific to men and women in society that this provides an outlet for that small little gender-affirmation in your day.
You literally chose to purchase the more expensive one because it was pink
you're validating the marketing
There’s no men’s only conditioner anyway so I’m buying women’s conditioner every time for my luscious red hair
Conditioner is the women’s conditioner lol
"Corporations exist to further entrenched patriarchy and oppression" instead of "making money" is left-wing alex jones-tier
I hope I don’t catch a lot of flack for this but sometimes I’ve used my wife’s razor because I have very sensitive skin and “man” razors give me gnarly razor burn and bumps
@VinceChaos I have noticed that too lol. You can get mens shampoo or even mens shampoo+conditioner mix, but you can't get men's conditioner
by the way I am not a huge fan of the shampoo + conditioner mix
My wife who does hair would love this convo
Gives the best haircuts too
Neither am I @ThisIsChris
the time your hair is sitting in conditioner is NOT the time for shampoo to be drying it out. Opposing effects!
Razors the same. This is literally the marketing argument.
