@Wood-Ape - OK/MN ya that's what I'm saying, too. That list isn't very eye-opening...as there's a massive drop off from 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5. What foods exist in there? Not to mention the 10000% difference between soy and PB.

2018-11-12 22:53:37 UTC

Clearly it's not a "top 10 list". It's just a list of examples.

2018-11-12 22:53:46 UTC

@Jacob In a pot or rice cooker?

2018-11-12 22:53:49 UTC

@Gumbo - AZ Epic bars are just that (epic). They formed the majority of my rations on a 80 miler. My favorites are the boar and pork. ALthough beef and bison are good too. Venison, turkey and chicken are a bit dry, albeit higher in protein

2018-11-12 22:53:56 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN I’m not on the boomer hatred train. I unironically think they’re hiding their power levels.

2018-11-12 22:54:16 UTC

@Nerv - VA Sorry, I wasn't trying to be hateful. Just impatient

2018-11-12 22:54:19 UTC

@Phillip Wiglesworth - FL that's the secret of how buzzfeed and the like generate those top 10 lists. There's no quality control, they aren't producing top 10 lists they are just producing lists

2018-11-12 22:54:20 UTC

I like the venison, chicken & wild boar the most... but they are all good tbh. salmon is the driest

Tucker is the boomer whisperer, Tucker is our greatest ally

2018-11-12 22:54:43 UTC

Oh and on the topic of grocery shopping and hormone disruptors, store receipts contain MASSIVE amounts of hormone disruptors . Avoid like the plague.

2018-11-12 22:54:52 UTC

@Gumbo - AZ I have not had the salmon Epic bars

2018-11-12 22:54:55 UTC

The top 10 list industry is a shady business with no regulation

2018-11-12 22:55:13 UTC

@ThisIsChris They go for visual effect by merely putting it in the same list, near something disturbing.

2018-11-12 22:55:18 UTC

Shock and awe

2018-11-12 22:55:49 UTC

@JohnAtlas Pot. No money for rice cooker.

2018-11-12 22:55:50 UTC

@Selma I have a funny mental image of you slapping the receipt out of the cashier's hands. Concern that appears as utter contempt, lol

2018-11-12 22:55:52 UTC

@Selma Receipts?

2018-11-12 22:56:11 UTC

Hahaha, wood ape, that's very funny. Just ask not to get a receipt or say 'no thank you' if they ask.

2018-11-12 22:56:20 UTC

@Selma I try to avoid my ex-wife for the exact same reason...oddly enough!

2018-11-12 22:57:11 UTC

"The receipt for a McDonald’s Happy Meal purchased in Clinton, Conn. on Apr. 21 had an estimated 13 milligrams of BPA. That equals the amount of BPA in 126 cans of Chef Boyardee Overstuffed Beef Ravioli in Hearty Tomato & Meat Sauce, one of the products with the highest concentrations of BPA in EWG’s 2007 tests of canned foods."

2018-11-12 22:57:17 UTC

So if you touch it and then touch food, you consume it.

2018-11-12 22:57:26 UTC

@Selma Odd! Is it the ink?

2018-11-12 22:57:55 UTC

Is it possible that it was cross-contamination from the cooked soy patties, and the employees then touching the receipt?

2018-11-12 22:58:04 UTC

Boomers just have fear. Simple, they seen a generation that developed courage

2018-11-12 22:58:09 UTC

I mean...that doesn't sound like a very scientifically-controlled examination

2018-11-12 22:58:27 UTC

If they just examined a receipt they got from the store...

2018-11-12 22:58:30 UTC

That’s unbelievable. I typically decline receipts anyway — instincts.

2018-11-12 22:58:36 UTC

I don't understand how people keep track of all these obscure nutrition facts. It seems like *every* food is toxic if you look hard enough.

2018-11-12 22:58:38 UTC

@Selmaok but I typically dont eat the receipt.

2018-11-12 22:58:45 UTC

I do

2018-11-12 22:59:02 UTC

I do, only if I'm trying to stay off the grid

2018-11-12 22:59:31 UTC

2018-11-12 22:59:40 UTC

welp guess I'm infertile now

2018-11-12 23:00:22 UTC

I guess that explains the orientation of your typical Starbucks employee...
