Better they adopt dogs than children

Thoughts?

For all the focus on college educated suburbanites, the GOP underperformed Trump by even more with the working class. The obvious solution is for them to stop being the Chamber of Commerce party

2018-11-12 23:37:14 UTC

College indoctrinates you to vote against your own self interests?

2018-11-12 23:37:23 UTC

Women are no longer allowed to go to college. Period.

2018-11-12 23:37:45 UTC

It doesn't factor in race. White women voted mostly for Trump.

2018-11-12 23:37:57 UTC

Race is a much bigger deal than gender here.

2018-11-12 23:37:58 UTC

Women aren't allowed to vote! We going back to original voting system. Only white men who own land.

2018-11-12 23:38:11 UTC

Yes it does. This is white only. @sigruna14

2018-11-12 23:38:34 UTC

People don't usually vote based on ideology. They vote based on social groups. College educated whites women in particular can afford to live away from the downsides of diversity and vote based on virtue signaling

2018-11-12 23:38:36 UTC

@Josh M. -OH or only married women could vote.

2018-11-12 23:38:55 UTC

Republicans need to co-opt some left wing policies to appeal to working class people

2018-11-12 23:39:01 UTC

@Deleted Usermen and women.

2018-11-12 23:39:03 UTC

just... uh... don't frame it that way

2018-11-12 23:39:05 UTC

And women vote their hormones.

2018-11-12 23:39:05 UTC

Ah, I see now. Interesting, I remember those older maps, you know "this is how the election would have turned out if only x voted," and the map for white women was still very red, though less than for men.

2018-11-12 23:39:06 UTC

Having kids makes the biggest difference in how women vote. It matters for men too, but less so

2018-11-12 23:39:11 UTC

I'd allow that compromise. Maybe women who own land too?

2018-11-12 23:39:20 UTC

We should host voting drives in working class white areas as was suggested by @Jacob

2018-11-12 23:39:36 UTC

ya this tbh

2018-11-12 23:39:49 UTC

Family vote would also give the people in general more power.

2018-11-12 23:39:54 UTC

Since less votes = more value per vote.

2018-11-12 23:40:08 UTC

I would say we should focus on the suburbs too, but the working class first and foremost

2018-11-12 23:40:18 UTC

@Freiheit - CA yes bc some women are widows.

2018-11-12 23:40:26 UTC

Yeah

2018-11-12 23:40:30 UTC

How about just making people pass a civics test to become a registered voter? I'd say 80% of dems and 70% of republicans couldn't pass the citizenship test

2018-11-12 23:40:38 UTC

It seems that republicans have lost popularity among all whites.

2018-11-12 23:40:42 UTC

George Washington's mother. Yeah

2018-11-12 23:41:06 UTC

@Josh M. -OH That's the one. Race and college make the biggest difference. What that map tells me is that if college weren't a commie brainwashing camp and the country were white supermajority, it wouldn't really matter if women voted or not.

2018-11-12 23:41:10 UTC

Those maps are 2012. Trump won whites in Iowa and Minnesota

2018-11-12 23:41:14 UTC

@TMatthews I’ve been saying that since I was an elitist teenager. Problem is most Libs will pass that and many Deplorables won’t.

2018-11-12 23:41:26 UTC

What's going on with young whites?

2018-11-12 23:41:59 UTC

@Deleted User Most libs couldn't name ten presidents or half the bill of rights

2018-11-12 23:41:59 UTC

How about no voting @TMatthews

2018-11-12 23:42:23 UTC

@sigruna14 sounds about right to me

2018-11-12 23:42:42 UTC

Is Iowa really that blue?

2018-11-12 23:42:44 UTC

How do they get "college-educated _anything_" into a map like that? I mean...it's not at all something required to put on voter registration.

Seems to me they got their numbers from exit polls. Which have proven to be a complete disaster.

2018-11-12 23:43:06 UTC

@Jacob It was in 2012. Trump won whites there by double digits

2018-11-12 23:43:15 UTC

hol up
