How about we reach out to those Wisconsin high school seniors that were doxxed today and suggest they apply to IE?

2018-11-13 01:44:45 UTC

I doubt they were serious. Their little bit was like the photo version of spraypainting a swastika inside of a tunnel bc its edgy

2018-11-13 01:44:51 UTC

Honestly I think it was just a joke.

2018-11-13 01:45:31 UTC

Our reaching out is still a great move.

2018-11-13 01:45:37 UTC

It was like one photo, out of several taken, that was supposed to be funny. I doubt their lives will be ruined.

This is a comment my teacher left on my assignment

"Have you read anything about epigenetics, Jacob? I've just started to learn about it in the last few years (and have not had the time to pursue it in very much depth), but those who study it believe the impact of intergeneration trauma is powerful, and has profound effects for interracial relations, especially, for example, for relations in the U.S. between white people and indigenous people and for white people and the descendants of formerly enslaved black people."

2018-11-13 01:46:14 UTC

@Hakujin - CA probably best to just avoid reaching out to them directly. If they think IE is where they belong, then they'll find us, apply, and go through the interviewing process like everyone else. Extremism is something we don't want to encourage or condone - even if they were joking, so I'd say right now they have a little bit of growing up to do first.

2018-11-13 01:46:28 UTC

Put it this way, if they were serious, you wouldn’t have to reach out to them.

2018-11-13 01:46:28 UTC

This is why leftists can be a lot more interesting that civnats

2018-11-13 01:47:15 UTC

Definitely a very interesting idea. If what my teacher is saying is true, it essentially implies that race relations can never really be fixed

2018-11-13 01:47:47 UTC

@Nemets When they turn 18

2018-11-13 01:48:09 UTC

@Jacob Sometimes Leftists have genuinely good arguments against diversity. They just see it as a tragic problem.

2018-11-13 01:48:22 UTC

Absolutely

2018-11-13 01:48:27 UTC

Absolute overton window shift @Sam Anderson

2018-11-13 01:49:26 UTC

What do you mean?

2018-11-13 01:53:02 UTC

I don't even know what the conversation is about.

2018-11-13 01:53:20 UTC

We're good.

2018-11-13 01:53:41 UTC

Makes sense tho. @Nemets

2018-11-13 01:54:19 UTC

Epigenetic trauma seems to me to put too much weight on the power of organisms to adapt genetically

2018-11-13 02:01:21 UTC

What about a fetus?

2018-11-13 02:02:32 UTC

You guys should join professional societies, and vote in them. THey have low voter participation rates but can effect a lot

2018-11-13 02:02:49 UTC

Pretty sure the genetics would already be settled at that point too. Perhaps there could be some effect on the genetic makeup of the zygotes produced by either sex during a traumatic period.

2018-11-13 02:03:24 UTC

I'm voting in one now, going through the candidate profiles, and voting against anyone with diversity initiatives as part of their platform

2018-11-13 02:05:43 UTC

@Reinhard Wolff IF you were in no way, shape, or form ideologically opposed to Matt Forney, would his odd shaped head alone be enough to bar his addmission into IE?

2018-11-13 02:09:41 UTC

guys listen

2018-11-13 02:09:42 UTC

Wonder what the reaction to the Prager tweet will be after some time

2018-11-13 02:09:50 UTC

if epigenetics are real, that just helps our side

2018-11-13 02:09:57 UTC

so uh let's not countersignal it too much

2018-11-13 02:10:42 UTC

Epigenetics in the context of muh poor blacks is quite the retcon

2018-11-13 02:16:54 UTC

I could see something like epigenetics working metaphysically through non local resonance and ancestral memory, but not actual epigenetics

2018-11-13 02:17:28 UTC

I’ve heard someone suggest that the entire black population of South Africa is afflicted with generational PTSD that goes back to “colonialism”.

2018-11-13 02:18:01 UTC

When I hear it I’m gonna set it straight.

2018-11-13 02:18:22 UTC

That’s hilarious considering that the Boers and Bantus lived far apart

2018-11-13 02:18:23 UTC

@Nemets Because if memories are passed down genetically, race relations will never fix themselves

2018-11-13 02:18:36 UTC

It's just gonna be inherited tension ad infinitum

2018-11-13 02:19:09 UTC

It’s not memories. It’s the biochemical effects of serious trauma, in the way they put it.

2018-11-13 02:21:17 UTC

@Nemets I mean not exactly memories I guess
