I’ll add that this city is incredibly ethnically segregated. Two black people out of maybe 30 live in my apartment building and I’m in a 3/4 black city.

Would seriously take this over New York any day.

I’ve loved some of the areas around Nashville — Brentwood, Franklin, Hendersonville. All very white and a much higher quality of life than most

Amazon is building a fulfillment center near Spokane. I hate what they do as a corporation but I'm excited for the faster shipping.

I also lived in Houston TX which is the most diverse city in the US and it’s a shithole in the public sphere. Only good coming from it is commercialism and oil money from saudis

Of course it depends on the role @Jacob, but working in their shipping dept seems rough... We pay slightly more and you’re managing way less packages a day than at Amazon.
