...but all black comedy shows are a dime a dozen. 🤔

Frozen vegetables are a great way to eat healthy and live on little money.

$30 of meat, frozen veggies and a bag of rice was my college grocery shopping

2018-11-16 05:06:34 UTC

plain greek yogurt typically always has sales - it's high protein

2018-11-16 05:08:07 UTC

I've spent $146 so far this month on food and drinks, and that includes about $70 spent eating out at IE meetups

2018-11-16 05:08:44 UTC

Did you know that IE meetups are 14% of my schedule but commit 55% of my grocery budget?

2018-11-16 05:08:57 UTC

@Jacob I didn't before but now I do

2018-11-16 05:09:30 UTC

It's money well spent. Food is fine, but food and fellowship is fantastic.

2018-11-16 05:09:35 UTC

I never spend more than $10 eating out

2018-11-16 05:09:44 UTC

I spend about $130 per month on Half&Half

2018-11-16 05:10:10 UTC

@Virgil I can barely get away with less than that at Chick Fil A these days. <:sad:366743316475281408>

2018-11-16 05:10:10 UTC

Half gallon

2018-11-16 05:10:23 UTC

@DairyMaxx true to your name

2018-11-16 05:10:33 UTC

I buy 6 to7 large V8's a week for quick vegetable consumption.

2018-11-16 05:10:45 UTC

Of course I don't eat out much, I just cook pasta at home and make sweet pot fries

2018-11-16 05:10:53 UTC

@ThisIsChris Source is Jacob's Budget Table 43

2018-11-16 05:11:09 UTC

@Jacob you have to subtract out the hispanics though

2018-11-16 05:11:14 UTC

Spaghetti is disgustingly cheap, but not very healthy. 1 dollar at dollar stores for a double box.

2018-11-16 05:12:11 UTC

I eat a plant maybe every two weeks. People spending money on rice or pasta astonishes me.

2018-11-16 05:12:56 UTC

How do you get Vitamin K?

2018-11-16 05:13:23 UTC

@ThisIsChris Did you know that Tabasco is counted as mayonnaise in those statistics, which inflates the mayonnaise share?

2018-11-16 05:13:24 UTC

@Selma Look for the little K symbol in a circle on foods

2018-11-16 05:13:41 UTC

I want my antioxidants and minerals

2018-11-16 05:13:47 UTC

I have an 8 oz. cup of tomato juice each morning. That's 2 servings of veggies.

2018-11-16 05:14:12 UTC

@Jacob of course they never make the distinction

2018-11-16 05:14:26 UTC

Always drink tomato juice with a source of fat - lycopene is fat soluble @Singleton Mosby WV

2018-11-16 05:14:30 UTC

@DairyMaxx There are 1,902 fat calories in a half gallon of Half&Half. How can you consume that much Half&Half on a daily basis and maintain IE's fitness standards? <:really:453005408064241674>

2018-11-16 05:14:55 UTC

Currently surviving on coffee and pickled venison sausages

2018-11-16 05:15:11 UTC

@Selma find this for vitamin K

2018-11-16 05:15:20 UTC

Thanks, Chris.

2018-11-16 05:15:29 UTC

You're welcome!

2018-11-16 05:15:58 UTC

Maybe our Half&Halfs are different but mine is 2500ish calories. I usually eat a pound of beef for dinner and lately some fat trimmings from the butcher. @Rick

2018-11-16 05:16:11 UTC

A shot of huuuwhite vinegar in the morning is supposed to balance your electrolytes.

2018-11-16 05:16:12 UTC

@ThisIsChris If you post that image two more times, you will have to moderate yourself. 😄

2018-11-16 05:16:44 UTC

@Rick yes, because I'd be such a great baseball pitcher

2018-11-16 05:16:52 UTC

I finally finished those canned pears I got 25 cents each on clearance. What a great deal.

2018-11-16 05:17:46 UTC

I should just clear out the clearance rack every week

2018-11-16 05:17:54 UTC

@DairyMaxx Yeah, I just did a quick google search on Half&Half nutrition facts

2018-11-16 05:17:59 UTC

For those kind of prices I don't care what I eat
