Because tolerance isn't appropriate for a sexuality that someone can't help and can't hurt anyone since it's private. I say that because tolerance doesn't include a safe free environment, equal rights and treatment and seeing them as people rather monsters @Carvo

But it can hurt others external to yourself. The issue here is that you have a highly individualistic worldview, and think that what I do in private doesn’t change the world around me. This isn’t true. What you do in private, you will reflect in public, no matter how hard you try to hide it.

Secondly, if homosexuality is rampant within a society, the decrease of the vitality of that society will naturally come. Fertility will decrease since you have a mass group of people eliminating themselves from the market and instead engage in homosexual relationships. I don’t want my collective being weakened in this manner.

Also, I don’t think you’re just “born with it” as you describe. I think sexuality is dependant on a wide array of factors, some of which we can impact to reduce the amount of sexual deviance within society. @BabyHenry
