Understandable

2021-01-15 06:51:40 UTC

We are all against slavery, however slavery was a caste system, not what it is portrayed as today.

2021-01-15 06:52:06 UTC

If you look at what happens when you abuse slaves you would understand they were not treated poorly, in most cases.

2021-01-15 06:52:07 UTC

???

2021-01-15 06:52:26 UTC

Okay... seriously... who is this UnclePatch guy and why does he want to bow to the corrupt leftists so bad?

2021-01-15 06:52:34 UTC

Spartacus is an example of what happens when you abuse slaves.

2021-01-15 06:52:42 UTC

the word slave came from roaman times when the slavic people where favorite choice for mongol, arabs, and khazar traders for white slaves

2021-01-15 06:53:08 UTC

I am from the Caribbean, basically everyone in our countries are products of slavery

2021-01-15 06:53:14 UTC

No reason to attack his character

2021-01-15 06:53:18 UTC

I know its history

2021-01-15 06:53:35 UTC

We can have a good conversation about something that someone is not fully informed on

2021-01-15 06:54:21 UTC

so how does the battle flag have a racist meaning to u in another country

2021-01-15 06:54:26 UTC

I'm being educated. I didn't know some of those details. Thank you.

2021-01-15 06:54:34 UTC

Bacon's Rebellion is an uprising of porely treated indentured servants.

2021-01-15 06:54:49 UTC

Not attacking character at all, just wondering. His rhetoric has been painting the republicans as racists over a flag that has literally nothing to do with racism... it’s a leftist division point. I mean... when will that point get through?

2021-01-15 06:54:57 UTC

And the reason America began to move to more Atlantic slaves instead of english slaves

2021-01-15 06:55:28 UTC

then of course u know how people where sold to the arabics who then sold them to the dutch and english then to america and other country world wide

2021-01-15 06:55:31 UTC

@woodrow523 You are very welcome

2021-01-15 06:57:09 UTC

The republican party was founded by the abolitionists

2021-01-15 06:57:39 UTC

Slavery by today’s standards is terrible, but the standards before we got rid of it, was literally accepted world wide. Alllllll sorts of people from different racial and ethnic backgrounds were slaves. Do we condone it with today’s standards? No, do we look at the battle flag and suddenly have pride in racism and slavery? No. So what’s the deal?

2021-01-15 06:57:50 UTC

They will never see you as normal people until people stop brandishing the flag.
I myself just see a flag, but if you continue doing it they'll keep calling you racist for doing (to childishly invalidate anything you say)

2021-01-15 06:58:11 UTC

If your seriously concerned about slavery, can you tackle Chinese child slave labor?

2021-01-15 06:58:19 UTC

Also the atlantic slave trade was done by the Portuguese, which bought slaves from the African kings, because the kings would not allow the Europeans in their lands to gather slaves. All slaves at that time were captured through what is called a Hedgright system. Which meant that all slaves or the vast majority of them were prisoners of war or criminals, not people capture from villages! They were always a people aught up in some kind of imperial action.

2021-01-15 06:59:06 UTC

Their intentional misinterpretation of the battle flag is literally a sign of their ignorance. Should we cave to their lack of knowledge?

2021-01-15 07:00:35 UTC

The deal is that it has become associated with racism. I would stay clear from it

2021-01-15 07:00:46 UTC

This is less about carrying a flag and more about freedom to have whatever you choose to have. In America, we should be free to have a battle flag, even if the pissers and moaners what to paint it in a bad light just so they can push their garbage narrative. Caving will do nothing to solve the problem.

2021-01-15 07:01:34 UTC

I don’t personally have one, but I don’t see an issue with anyone having one.

2021-01-15 07:01:57 UTC

I thought this was an eso discord hahaha

2021-01-15 07:02:17 UTC

You'll never convince them otherwise because all they will see is a pro-slavery flag

2021-01-15 07:02:32 UTC

The same pissers and moaners complain and shit on the US Flag... so as far as I am concerned... they have literally no ground to stand on.

2021-01-15 07:02:34 UTC

Alot of ppl have been told alot of non-sense (Just look at CNN)
You think a common misconception about a flag is a problem?
Over the next dozen weeks, what do you suppose the brainwashed masses in our country will think is going on? Where will they get their information?

2021-01-15 07:03:33 UTC

From the same garbage news, social media, and education systems that lied to them for years.

2021-01-15 07:03:34 UTC

@UnclePatch No people have created a narrative that is not real. That symbol was never associated with racism, it was with slavery, but slavery had no race. That symbol represents Virginia, and the north Virginia army, not any race, and that army had men of all different races.

2021-01-15 07:03:43 UTC

You gonna be that stereotype of mean hatful Trump supporter they know all about?
r you gonna talk the time to listen & understand their concerns & explain in a calm & rational manner what is going on??

2021-01-15 07:04:43 UTC

I lack the patience for such things 😂

2021-01-15 07:04:47 UTC

Sorry

2021-01-15 07:04:56 UTC

Look I understand, I've been there, we've all been there, but that time is over.
Very soon alot of ppl's view of the world is going to be shockingly altered

2021-01-15 07:05:01 UTC

I will have a calm conversation about it, because there is no need to be rude or hateful, public discourse is the path to changing minds and educating people.

2021-01-15 07:05:06 UTC

It’s like when I hear it over and over again it gets tiring.
