Optimism and pessimism are high and low degrees.

You must remain tempered - as I have learned in my recent weeks in IE.

That being said, I'll say whatever I say in accordance with the rules. I don't believe we should be a democracy, and if leadership believes there's too much negativity I'll tone it down even if I disagree.

I want to be constructive, speaking as likely one of Ian's ten undesirables. Perhaps a designated blackpill containment channel? I doubt anyone wants to annoy fellow members in the effort to keep everyone informed.

I think we all fluctuate. Personally I get encouraged when I see I'm not the only one, then the community helps us focus our energies in productive output that turns black pills red and white.
