it can't just be German influence
this sounds like so alien lmao
What is the risk involved with flyering one’s own university?
well great now I’ve gone down the YouTube black hole
apparently it’s the last remnant of the Pomeranian language?
Getting recognized and becoming known as the Nazi on campus @NateDahl76
@NateDahl76 cameras, getting recognized, etc
So they can’t really punish you?
let's move this discussion to the Slav server
I made some green bean casserole, who wants some?
no they could absolutely kick you out
@NateDahl76 If it's public, theoretically, no, they can't
*theoretically*
Couldn’t you sue?
@Isabella Locke-MT if you could send some to VA, yes lol
@NateDahl76 Yes, you could
if you’ve got a lawyer on deck and want to fight a long legal battle...
Risk of lawsuit isn't good for the school either
@NateDahl76 One day in the far future they will be sued for third party interference in a contract, but today is not that day. In the current year they will say something like 'your creating a hostile environment' and or use anarcho tyranny to make your continued attendance an awful and impractical experience.
Whut oh!
Unfortunately, groups like FIRE and the ACLU won't provide lawyers for free speech on campus if it's IE. Even if you could win a lawsuit, it would be a hollow victory.
ACLU defended Charlottesville
Even FIRE won’t?
That is concerning...
ACLU has said they won't do that again post UTR
@NateDahl76 somewhat unrelated but I’ll be in MD in a few weeks. We should do cool IE stuff
I’ve heard ACLU won’t. FIRE though? I’m going to speak to them.
If you do flyer your own campus, pick out locations in advance where cameras can't clearly see your face.
Maybe I'm wrong (and I do like FIRE) but I think they're afraid of being seen as a legal aid to the alt-right
only thing I’ve done on my campus is business cards in the parts of the library that I know don’t have cameras
my school has been trying to find me for over a year lol
send the president a postcard the day you graduate
Absolutely, @Alex Kolchak - NY. Hit us up on slack
I will. IE Christmas/New Years party?
@Jacob Although wearing different attire and a hat can go a long way, I think it's safer to have someone else flier your campus and then you can reciprocate by fliering theirs.
It absolutely is
I'm going to lay low for a while and poster other colleges since they're on the hunt for me
You can also leave the business cards places
