it’s not leeching if people chip in voluntarily

2018-11-21 17:53:25 UTC

AKA not strangers

2018-11-21 17:53:48 UTC

People wanna help

2018-11-21 17:53:52 UTC

@Isabella Locke-MT We're a tribe, not a bunch of strangers.

2018-11-21 17:54:40 UTC

You guys are going to trigger my pregnancy hormones to make me cry

2018-11-21 17:54:50 UTC

There is no winning lol

2018-11-21 17:54:57 UTC

Awh

2018-11-21 17:55:06 UTC

It's just sweet that y'all would want to help

2018-11-21 17:55:14 UTC

I’d give you guys a stroller if you weren’t so far away 😂

2018-11-21 17:56:56 UTC

@Isabella Locke-MT Patrick posts all baby registries in announcements for our members

2018-11-21 17:57:09 UTC

@NateDahl76 that's what Amazon wish-list are for 😉

2018-11-21 17:57:26 UTC

I have one in pretty good shape

2018-11-21 17:57:41 UTC

Welp when someone has a kid in the area

2018-11-21 17:58:01 UTC

Still don't really feel comfortable doing that. My husband is getting overtime every week, we'll be okay.

2018-11-21 17:58:46 UTC

@Isabella Locke-MT I recommend Babylist registry and cosleeping. My mom bought us a crib but he sleeps in our bed, way easier for night feedings.

2018-11-21 17:59:04 UTC

I have a Babylist

2018-11-21 17:59:08 UTC

Nice

2018-11-21 17:59:41 UTC

We got a little bassinet that rotates over the bed

2018-11-21 17:59:44 UTC

@GDoctor amazon wishlists can dox people. We have a procedure in place.

2018-11-21 17:59:47 UTC

As for cosleeping, Idk. I don't want to squish him

2018-11-21 18:00:34 UTC

@Papa Pizzagate Oops, my bad.

2018-11-21 18:01:12 UTC

Cosleeping is dangerous for drinkers and drug users, and I suppose the heaviest of sleepers who move around a lot. Otherwise your reaction times and awareness of the baby are up to par to not squish him.

2018-11-21 18:02:22 UTC

We have other parents who cosleep. When you get into the parenting channel we can discuss more if you like.

2018-11-21 18:03:13 UTC

As for "leeching," once you're a member your baby becomes any IE baby. One of us, one of us...

2018-11-21 18:03:22 UTC

No worries brotha just want to make sure we don't give people the wrong idea! @GDoctor

2018-11-21 18:03:28 UTC

if your baby can't defend itself from your sleeping body, then it was weak

Hardcore

2018-11-21 18:05:27 UTC

Didn’t think I’d get that kind of dark humor when popping into general

2018-11-21 18:06:01 UTC

dark humor = best humor

2018-11-21 18:06:03 UTC

My husband and I are both light sleepers.

2018-11-21 18:06:10 UTC

Shouldn't be an issue

2018-11-21 18:07:51 UTC

If I wasn't a sufficiently light sleeper before, I know when you give birth something happens to your brain to make you one lol

2018-11-21 18:07:53 UTC

>several people are typing

2018-11-21 18:08:58 UTC

if your toddler can't defeat the patriarch of the household in hand-to-hand combat, then you birthed a gender studies major

2018-11-21 18:09:55 UTC

@Goose if geese think this way .... all I can say is oof

2018-11-21 18:10:01 UTC

I was a heavy sleeper before. Tbh not much has changed. Still fall asleep pretty much anywhere and baby has to make noise right next to me for a minute or two before I start to wake up.

2018-11-21 18:12:36 UTC

I wonder how many babies will be at the conference?

2018-11-21 18:13:18 UTC

Imagine how an IE twitter post with a dozen infants...

2018-11-21 18:13:31 UTC

Infants do a banner drop

2018-11-21 18:13:31 UTC

just realized we're going to need a daycare at future conferences <:nervous:359009898115104770>

2018-11-21 18:13:34 UTC

My wife doesn’t want me to bring ours 😭😭
