In order to maintain a Republic, if someone comes to confiscate your defenses (guns), you are supposed to shoot them.

That is why I am teaching my kids hand-to-hand combat. And in SA, you must always expect the perpetrator to me heavily armed.

And they do not scream, "POLICE, POLICE!"

They just break the door and come in fast and hard, maybe 4 to 8 of them.
