I live like 30 minutes away from them

it's not really noticeably different than being in Dallas
people have the same southern, friendly disposition
the weather is generally more mild
slightly warmer in winter, definitely a bit cooler in summer
(this is just comparing Dallas to Atlanta, as we both know that south Texas is way different than Dallas or Houston)
