This applies to everything in your entire life, from what you will prepare for dinner today, to your plan to build a new house.
Also, things that you cannot influence, you must not allow yourself to worry about.
Those things are out of your hands.
Why expend time, energy, and worry about them?
That precious time, energy, and worry needs to be spent on things that really need your attention.
And that ties back to being healthy and well-rested, so that you can make those good decisions as to what needs your attention.
Start small, keeping your own house/life in good order, then build on that.
Establish a good foundation, then construct a solid ground floor.
Then fortify that foundation and ground floor.
Only then can you continue building upwards.
We all know these things already, and most of us have heard this all of our lives.
Occasionally, we need to remind ourselves of certain things like this.
