But if you become a reasonable force in the international market by the way of just: selling commodities at bulk and cheap to struggling 3rd world economies at a huge profit because it’s stolen

2020-11-24 19:21:33 UTC

Piracy but instead of the goal being to benefit only the crew

2020-11-24 19:21:54 UTC

Let me know how it works out

2020-11-24 19:22:16 UTC

You generate economies by educating and helping infrastructure to struggling countries

2020-11-24 19:22:26 UTC

@Stipler Monke all you can sell to third world countries is what you catch at sea. Be nice or they will kill you.

2020-11-24 19:22:41 UTC

Well obviously

2020-11-24 19:22:54 UTC

The whole world is going to try and kill you

2020-11-24 19:23:09 UTC

They have shit economies because they have low IQs.

2020-11-24 19:23:43 UTC

A North American rebel cell in NAFTA waters. Oh man you’re going to have guns on your ass 24/7

2020-11-24 19:23:50 UTC

Unless

2020-11-24 19:23:56 UTC

You get good publicity

2020-11-24 19:24:31 UTC

Living on a boat is unrealistic.

2020-11-24 19:25:36 UTC

Poor countries also have poor economies because if they were booming and had a better quality of life it would be more expensive to transport good and pay them for Labour

2020-11-24 19:26:00 UTC

The thing that would make it unrealistic is how prepared you are

2020-11-24 19:26:11 UTC

People are not all the same.

2020-11-24 19:26:29 UTC

You can not make geniuses out of morons.

2020-11-24 19:26:45 UTC

That is why communism fails.

@Lᵃʷ ᵂʳᵉⁿ anyway, you know the "sciences" are filled with dogma these days. Colleges are where ideas go to die.

2020-11-24 19:31:02 UTC

It is all about money
, who can bring in the largest research grants.

2020-11-24 19:31:41 UTC

The biggest spenders decide what is researched and who gets to do the research.

2020-11-24 19:32:38 UTC

People who memorize things and follow orders blindly do well in that environment.

2020-11-24 20:08:08 UTC

So if you had a crew of North American dissenters who come from educated backgrounds who weren’t with any state and say idk set up a shop in let’s say Argentina. And let’s say this shops sells... meat. You aren’t going to be able to continue that shop if you don’t have a steady supply of livestock. And you can only have a small amount on the ship right ? So if you want that to succeed your priority in setting up said shop wouldn’t be to sell the meat. But to network to a farmer to send cattle in. Once you have people bringing in slaughtered cows. BOOM networking. Teach some workers how to cleanly butcher the meat. BOOM seized an entire branch of production. Where ever you put down that shop you just developed commerce where you landed. So if the place starts getting too successful. Sell it off and BOOM you just eliminated a small amount of market stagnation where ever you set that shop up. So! Say you sail around for 6 months before going back to that same port. If you set up and sold your meat market well enough you will have generated more commerce in that area. Which as a pirate you can 1. Take that capital entirely from the area and plunder them for maximum short term profits and decimation of what you set up 2. Set up a fence and create a trading area for yourself and continue helping the people in whatever way you see fit so that you build a good image for yourself and possibly gain protection from the public opinion

2020-11-24 20:08:32 UTC

3. Idk fuck off do whatever you want you’re a pirate

2020-11-24 20:09:33 UTC

Which I’m not saying that’s gospel or anything but that’s more of just an example of how piracy done right can be very profitable for pretty much every one if done right

2020-11-24 20:10:06 UTC

You know except the people you rob they don’t get very much out of it

2020-11-24 20:13:19 UTC

@BoundlessSet it's asinine to believe low IQs (only one realtive measure of certain intelligences) created nations in economic distress. You should watch the documentary Unsustainable to explore how nations have been economically oppressed by world forums for the purpose of consolidating power

2020-11-24 20:16:19 UTC

Additionally communism has been quite successful, for it's purpose which is totalitarianism

2020-11-24 20:17:06 UTC

Oh man stupid people are so good at getting things done. I’d say that people with more open paths of thought are a lot more likely to get distracted and distressed by the current bureaucratic way of the world than someone who is just like ooha booga me build wall

2020-11-24 20:17:49 UTC

you sound like a dip shit.

2020-11-24 20:18:04 UTC

me?

2020-11-24 20:18:13 UTC

Yeah definitely

2020-11-24 20:18:38 UTC

Stupid people are ignorant, not free from other avenues of thought

2020-11-24 20:19:05 UTC

yeah i know

2020-11-24 20:19:18 UTC

You're equating a relative measure of certain intelligences like iq with actual intelligence

2020-11-24 20:19:25 UTC

Which takes many forms

2020-11-24 20:19:39 UTC

Geniuses can be ineffective and ignorant

2020-11-24 20:20:06 UTC

but usually they are less likely to get distracted by that because they don't have the same capacity to worry about those strings of thought as much

2020-11-24 20:20:11 UTC

In which case intelligence as measured by iq is useless

2020-11-24 20:20:28 UTC

anyway I wasn't really trying to make a diehard point there my guy

2020-11-24 20:21:45 UTC

That's absurd. The level of depth to a person's thoughts is unquantifiable. Language for example, allows for communication of internal dialogue but people who have a limited grasp of language don't consider or conceptualize less. They have less access to avenues of communication. That's all
