Here we have polling units and they get counted by hand in each polling unit at the end of the day and the result announced and sent to the state take is about a day or two to get the result

I dont understand

why we dont have a system

that scans the ballot as you submit it

and shows the total count of votes in your station

one republican rep and one democrat rep

at every station
