I just ordered that! Was it you that posed it here the other day?

2018-12-01 01:08:46 UTC

@DrewMT Agreed. When I get black pilled, I like to think of our situation this way...

Many of our ancestors were fortunate enough to live in a time akin to a beautiful sculpture. It was crafted from stone by the small, repetitive, deliberate and harmonious actions of their ancestors. We do not live in the age of fine sculptures, but rather, of raw material. It is our turn to make beauty out of stone, to shape something wonderful from a chaotic medium. We are not those so fortunate to observe the sculpture. We are the sculptors.

Those are some wise words @John Boniface keeping a positive attitude like this is crucial and powerful

2018-12-01 01:18:47 UTC

Thank you

@DrewMT Thank you, my friend. Our goal should be, first and foremost, to create something beautiful. Only beautiful things last in the material world. I’m a big fan of John Keats. In his poem On Ode A Grecian Urn, Keats ends with:

When old age shall this generation waste, thou shallt remain in midst of other woe
Then ours, a friend of man, to whom tho say’st,
“Beauty is truth - truth, beauty”
That is all ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.

Definitely sounds like some good reads brother

2018-12-01 01:33:03 UTC

Really don't like the way we are painted in this article.

2018-12-01 01:33:13 UTC

By far one of the worst I've seen.

2018-12-01 01:35:31 UTC

@Lily Lee - NJ I, along with a few other local IE members, were there when that speech was given live. It was a fun day.

2018-12-01 01:37:01 UTC

@EzraPound2.0 I have tears in my eyes laughing. These people are so hard to take serious. Seeing our poster in an evidence bag. “We’re not going to show you the front.” Good job, to whomever is responsible for this.

2018-12-01 01:37:40 UTC

@Jacob that’s awesome! I bet that was a great time.

2018-12-01 01:37:41 UTC

Yeah its pretty funny

2018-12-01 01:38:47 UTC

All the people in that report are white. *They're stickers*. "The SPLC says...". It's just so absurd

2018-12-01 01:39:17 UTC

But it serves as a metric to understand where we're at as a nation

2018-12-01 01:39:31 UTC

If you guys have a sock jump in the comments

2018-12-01 01:39:41 UTC

Oh my goodness.

2018-12-01 01:39:45 UTC

Look at that thumbnail

2018-12-01 01:40:11 UTC

Literal evidence bag. Guys, wipe the stickers after you place them. They will literally start finger printing these things

2018-12-01 01:40:29 UTC

The police are sitting around looking at posters in evidence bags like they are shell casings from a shooting.

2018-12-01 01:40:34 UTC

The public being afraid of SPLC boogie men is more of a threat to local suburbs than actual crime

2018-12-01 01:41:03 UTC

I'd laugh, but I can't find the humor in it anymore, you know?

2018-12-01 01:41:52 UTC

I have an incredulous laugh about it, but this is really what we're dealing with

2018-12-01 01:54:57 UTC

Police can’t do anything lmao

2018-12-01 01:55:22 UTC

They won’t follow up on a citation like this

2018-12-01 01:55:23 UTC

So now that this has their attention, is it our time for one of our higher ranking members to contact them and asked them to debate us?

2018-12-01 01:55:54 UTC

The media outlet will probably be contacted because they got multiple things wrong

2018-12-01 01:56:25 UTC

I very much doubt these were put up at night, and if they were, it was casual

2018-12-01 01:56:43 UTC

This is just an attempt at political intimidation, plain and simple

2018-12-01 01:58:44 UTC

A citation for such a thing would be ridiculously easy to beat in court. It's an easy defense. Find another poster or sticker somewhere else in the city that another person put up. Take a photograph of it every day leading up to the court appearance, and present that as evidence in court that the city is selectively enforcing a statute in order to suppress one group's 1st Amendment rights, and not other people.

2018-12-01 02:00:38 UTC

Since our stickers do not damage anything, nor are they difficult to remove, they don't satisfy the purpose for which such a statute exists in most localities: to prevent damage to public property.

2018-12-01 02:02:07 UTC

Correct me if I’m wrong, isn’t one of the purposes of flyering to grab media attention? Then the next step is contacting a state representative for a debate ?

2018-12-01 02:03:42 UTC

Patrick and others have challenged political figures to debates before, hasn’t happened. If a politician takes notice, then so be it. Media attention amplifies us, makes our name more recognizable

2018-12-01 02:04:05 UTC

Good example of this was Cuomo*, who responded to us multiple times

2018-12-01 02:04:14 UTC

Attempted similar political intimidation

2018-12-01 02:05:32 UTC

@NateDahl76 do you mean Cuomo?
