I literally caused a relative to start melting down when I explained that the gas tax which they despise was a direct result of immigration both illegal and legal. Some of these creatures are too far gone to save, but we can probably get the less soyish ones with time.

2018-12-01 21:50:46 UTC

What does the gas tax have to do with immigration?

2018-12-01 21:51:52 UTC

Moly will really praise both McCarthyism and anarchism within 24 hours just lol

I wouldn't say that's him endorsing anarchism. He's making a tongue-in-cheek comparison (hence the quotation marks) of how silly the statement is.

2018-12-01 21:57:45 UTC

In other words, I see it as him saying, "All things being equal, anything is possible."

2018-12-01 21:58:33 UTC

@john Poli sci incoming: immigration wrecked the 5th largest economy (California) in the world via welfare, education and crime, so we can't afford to keep our roads and highways repaired with normal funds. Therefore, our state adds an additional tax on gas to help cover these costs. It doesnt matter that its earmarked only for our decaying infrastructure since it wouldnt be needed if our state hadnt made poor life decisions. This is also exacerbated by having more people driving on the roads causing more wear and tear, and also in consuming more gas which raises the price with supply and demand.

2018-12-01 21:59:19 UTC

@Phillip Wiglesworth - FL His statement is flawed. The existence of a state helps preclude the rise of another state. The existence of cancer does not help preclude the rise of additional cancer.

2018-12-01 22:01:09 UTC

Both of Molys statements that he means as false are true.

2018-12-01 22:01:14 UTC

It's not his statement. Again, the quotation marks imply he's using the words of someone who is making a ridiculous statement.

2018-12-01 22:01:33 UTC

Yeah I know. He is trying to parody something

2018-12-01 22:01:36 UTC

right

2018-12-01 22:02:02 UTC

But in a stateless society a state will arise. Because AnCap will result in Feudalism.

2018-12-01 22:02:18 UTC

Similarly, in France the price of fuel would be lower with less consumption by foreign invaders, and if the price was still an issue the state could help subsidize the costs with the money that they waste on breeding a replacement population. I'm not sure how much the invaders are driving wages down in france since I assume they have even more of a welfare state to leech off of over there but that could also be a contributory factor.

2018-12-01 22:02:44 UTC

Ofc if there is no state there is nothing to stop some wealthy people from violating the NAP.

2018-12-01 22:03:02 UTC

And you CAN get cancer multiple times. Many such cases. SAD!

2018-12-01 22:03:46 UTC

A mole on your body is "cancer", so to speak.

2018-12-01 22:05:13 UTC

What do our taxes even pay for? I mean there’s toll roads everywhere and fees for everything like parks . The gov nickels and dimes for everything yet were trillions in debt. Not even being rhetorical, where do our taxes go? Don’t they just borrow everything they want from the central bank to pay for things and our hard cash goes where?

2018-12-01 22:05:54 UTC

they print money to pay for stuff. taxes are just a way to strip money from anyone that is able to accumulate it on their own and put it back into the central financial system

2018-12-01 22:06:10 UTC

Such a joke.

2018-12-01 22:06:24 UTC

Unironically libertarian posting rn

2018-12-01 22:06:39 UTC

tariffs >>>>> taxes

2018-12-01 22:06:50 UTC

The .gov could print money to pay for public works, thus creating labor-backed currency with real value, as opposed to gold (and nowadays, debt) backed currency with only subjective value. <:usinnoodle:420778112226164736>

2018-12-01 22:07:03 UTC

@⚡Clark⚡ expensive military hardware which still breaks a lot

2018-12-01 22:07:11 UTC

labor/production backed currency >>>> speculative currency

SA is a bigbrain nibba

2018-12-01 22:08:16 UTC

In my college speech class we had to do an 8 minute speech for a grade. I did mine on fractional reserve banking and proposed labor-backed currency as a solution for its problems. Wasted words, totally. Everybody looked like I had just knocked them out and they were barely conscious.

2018-12-01 22:08:49 UTC

The speech had to be 8 minutes long. Everybody else was worrying how they were going to make an 8-minute speech. I had to cut mine down to fit in such a tiny timeframe.

2018-12-01 22:12:27 UTC

@sigruna14 You have to put it in terms that most college kids understand these days:

"If Marcus pimps 2 hos at $200 a pop, with a $50 kickback each for the heroin dealer, how many hip hop albums must Marcus peddle on iHeart radio to be able to afford the new Air Jordans?"

2018-12-01 22:14:10 UTC

Sounds about right.

2018-12-01 22:14:39 UTC

oh speaking of speech classes
