@Alexander Pechorin I know post-scarcity isn't a real thing, but it is possible that at some point, large numbers of people will be unable to get work due to various other factors, right?

@VinceChaos that doesn't happen overnight. Cost of robot replacement is too high for most firms to pay in the short term. My company has millions in manufacturing equipment and it would be so costly to replace that it would offset any gains by robots for decades. This is the story with most technological advances in machining. It takes a while. Society generally has more time to adapt than we think.
