For the folks that don't like NATO or the EU having Ukraine join their ranks would probably collapse them. Of course this applies to Russia as well. Ukraine is becoming the black sheep of Europe due to mafia politics and extreme corruption of its government.

Well collapsing NATO would be great, but I think it’s more likely we’d be forced into some kind of additional deployment. Lord knows the US armed forces isn’t in enough countries yet

@Isabella Locke-MT NATO, isn't a bad idea to a degree in theory. A stable military alliance with other industrialized powers is a good thing, so we can reign in their more militaristic tendencies for better global security.

However in practice, NATO is basically just about opposing the Russians for very petty reasons while it lets member states like Turkey run wild.

If we were ever going to raise dues for legal fees, we would've already done it. If I recall correctly leadership long ago ruled this out.

but members are always allowed to donate more.
