Easy for you to say.

2019-07-04 19:24:42 UTC

You are those people

2019-07-04 19:24:54 UTC

I have two things that I love: ttrpgs and project management.

2019-07-04 19:25:04 UTC

Wow

2019-07-04 19:25:33 UTC

I can't trust others

2019-07-04 19:25:40 UTC

They would think I'm crazy

2019-07-04 19:25:57 UTC

About what?

2019-07-04 19:26:00 UTC

Well how crazy are your beliefs

2019-07-04 19:26:06 UTC

That's because you are confusing trusting people with you v. trusting them to be themselves.

2019-07-04 19:26:12 UTC

In relation to societal beliefs

2019-07-04 19:26:38 UTC

@Xychoticcan you elaborate on that?

2019-07-04 19:27:00 UTC

Think of people as having their own motivations and goals that may intersect but do not align with yours.

2019-07-04 19:27:19 UTC

Yup

2019-07-04 19:27:25 UTC

Trust that they will do the action they think makes the most sense given their current frame.

2019-07-04 19:27:37 UTC

Yup

2019-07-04 19:27:37 UTC

Because, really, they do.

2019-07-04 19:27:44 UTC

Yes they do.

2019-07-04 19:28:10 UTC

To use another analogy, treat people as elements of the landscape.

2019-07-04 19:28:27 UTC

They are not things you can change or manipulate (under normal circumstances), so it is you that must adapt.

2019-07-04 19:28:36 UTC

@YuriBezmenov female nature with facts, hentai and porn statistics on countries and where it would lead my coun try in 10-15 years, body cell change, cloning of pigs, base of statistics, difference in religious book and their relation to specific races or nations

2019-07-04 19:28:43 UTC

And, another, red pill relevant analogy, it is not the spoon that bends, it is you that bends.

2019-07-04 19:30:11 UTC

@Xychotic you are suggesting to treat people as NPCs

2019-07-04 19:30:14 UTC

?

2019-07-04 19:30:28 UTC

No, because then you think you are above them.

2019-07-04 19:30:46 UTC

Treat them as players in their own game in a shared environment with some objectives that are the same as yours but other objectives that are not.

2019-07-04 19:30:55 UTC

@Xychotic wouldn't that make me at peace?

2019-07-04 19:31:08 UTC

Have you ever played Dead of Winter?

2019-07-04 19:31:13 UTC

No

2019-07-04 19:31:19 UTC

“When you wake up in the morning, tell yourself: The people I deal with today will be meddling, ungrateful, arrogant, dishonest, jealous, and surly. They are like this because they can't tell good from evil.” - Marcus Aurelius

2019-07-04 19:31:36 UTC

You get a team mission: like kill a certain number of zombies to get samples, or collect enough medicine, or just survive for 7 rounds.

2019-07-04 19:31:56 UTC

I believe that moral is subjective so I can't say that they are less or more good

2019-07-04 19:32:09 UTC

But then you get your own secret mission: like end the game with 4 food cards, or have a gun, a medicine, a fuel, and a food at the end of the game, or betray everyone and have a few other things in hand.

2019-07-04 19:32:36 UTC

So, every player has the shared mission and shared crisis management. But then they also have their own, private objectives they must manage in parallel.

2019-07-04 19:32:43 UTC

Go on

2019-07-04 19:33:24 UTC

Just go with the flow .

2019-07-04 19:33:50 UTC

Can't do that, I tend to create the flow

2019-07-04 19:34:05 UTC

That's why @Xychotic identified me to be bitter

2019-07-04 19:34:16 UTC

Why are you bitter?

2019-07-04 19:34:38 UTC

Because I'm unstable

2019-07-04 19:34:46 UTC

If you can't go with the flow, you can at least identify how the game is played and play accordingly.

2019-07-04 19:34:46 UTC

I get panic
