Samsung is well known for their quality low light cameras. They put a fairly large camera sensor on there phones. I really like the images my S8+ can take.

My folks found a 70+ year old camera and gave it to me for Christmas. It only needed a light cleaning.

After cleaning, the focus works perfectly. I've tested the shutter speeds. Seems good from 1/10 of a second all the way to 1/300. I put a cheap roll of film in and it is advancing find. The only question I have is if there is dust in the lens.

Indeed. However, since everything is springs and gears, this thing can survive wars. (And it did. Many WW2 soldiers had a variation of this camera)

Yeah, apparently produced from ‘39 to ‘66. They don’t make them like they used to for sure. Very nice 👍

This particular one, based on the serial was made in 1947
