I know that

2020-11-20 18:52:32 UTC

Bro went thru the same wringer cuz of it

2020-11-20 18:52:39 UTC

that was in my favor

2020-11-20 18:53:26 UTC

It was the bs fucked up LEO that started the ball rolling in a fucked up direction

2020-11-20 18:53:29 UTC

I really doubt it. They'll talk nice to your face, like they did with my bro, but when they're having lunch they're only talking about how much they can wring from the system by processing you in the worst way possible

2020-11-20 18:53:50 UTC

I get that but I am poor

2020-11-20 18:53:58 UTC

I would be better off hiring one now

2020-11-20 18:54:03 UTC

Yeah that's a big issue, lawyers are expensive

2020-11-20 18:54:14 UTC

Especially the good ones

2020-11-20 18:54:18 UTC

plus covid made it worse

2020-11-20 18:54:31 UTC

Might be able to get a gofundme goin for something like that tho

2020-11-20 18:54:35 UTC

I waited a year just to get court

2020-11-20 18:55:50 UTC

In fact I would think u could get some of those lefty bucks from that. Talk about how the system screwed u and they'll toss in some trust fund money

2020-11-20 18:57:14 UTC

Post your story on Twitter and Facebook with a gofundme, should get folks from all walks tossing ya some cash for legal fees

2020-11-20 19:00:40 UTC

Either way, good luck on that bro. Let me know how it works out. Like I said it hits kinda close to home for me cuz my bro's situation

2020-11-20 20:24:49 UTC

Once I am off probation it will be a non issue.

2020-11-20 20:24:52 UTC

or should be.

2020-11-20 20:25:08 UTC

It is essentially pointless probation.

2020-11-20 20:25:44 UTC

Honestly if I waned to I could probably hunt all year just fine and they wouldn't even know or wouldn't really be able to do anything about it.

2020-11-20 20:26:09 UTC

What I am most worried about is getting my CCW un suspeneded.

2020-11-21 19:45:13 UTC

I made some fire starter/napalm that is pretty wind resistant and would work great for camping. It’s the consistency of honey which works great because it sticks to everything. Any suggestions to make it light quicker?

2020-11-21 22:10:18 UTC

Beautiful typical

2020-11-21 22:14:27 UTC

If ya got a story behind it I'd love to read it

2020-11-21 22:38:04 UTC

@Meatball Well I got up at 5 to get in early for shotgun season with my dad. Our friends have about 23 acres so we went there. I took the south he took the north. I was in a tree stand when this beautiful big buck walks right up to me only about 30yds away. I shot him (unfortunately just off the side of the gut so it was gross to field dress?) and he trotted off about 40yds and stopped so I couldn't decide if I really had hit or not. Then all of the sudden he takes off and I lose him. Never saw him to after bout 10min I got down and went to the spot where I last saw him. Apparently he wasn't too far away cuz I look over and see this buck running the other way but I didn't shoot cuz I only had one tag and couldn't decide if that was the one I had shot. I lost him again so I went back to my stand. I went to the spot where I shot him and found a pile of fur so I started lookin for blood. Took me an hour to track him but I eventually found him about 200yds away from my stand. When I found him he wasn't quite dead and I didn't want to shoot him again bcuz that ruins more meat. So for 15 minutes I watched him die before I got too close. Just in case. When he finally died I called my dad to help me take up to the shed because there's no way I could drag him by myself. Sure enough 10 minutes later he pulls up with the four-wheeler and a trailer with a deer of his own. It was super fun!

2020-11-21 22:39:14 UTC

Here's him now. We are doing a european mount because he has way too beautiful of a rack to pass that up

@grace that's awesome! It's hard to track a gut shot! And that's your first?! On a 23 acre plot, to top it off?!? I bet there are gonna be man tears when the folks nearby stop seeing that beauty on their trail cams! "Where did he go??!!" πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

2020-11-21 22:49:37 UTC

I don't really agree with the euro mount myself, but to each their own

2020-11-21 22:49:59 UTC

I personally think it would look better as a shoulder mount

2020-11-21 22:50:06 UTC

@Meatball πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ yea the only thing could have possibly gone better would be if I struck him in the lungs! I felt so cool

2020-11-21 22:50:16 UTC

Got some serious girth to those beams

2020-11-21 22:51:07 UTC

Yea mom said no to the shoulder mount and we know someone who was willing to do it for free so we decided it was better than nothing

2020-11-21 22:51:18 UTC

πŸ˜‚

2020-11-21 22:51:25 UTC

U are cool! Takes a real hunter to track a gut shot. That's no simple task. Seriously very impressed.

2020-11-21 22:51:35 UTC

Thank you!

2020-11-21 22:52:29 UTC

I thought the trail ran cold for awhile but then I found where he took a pause and there was just a puddle of blood

2020-11-21 22:53:36 UTC

I know grown men that have given up on gut shots, even lung shots because the trail wasn't what they were expecting. I'd find the corpse a day or two later, torn apart by coyotes and buzzards, or sometimes intact
