I believe so mainly because they do not understand the meaning or weight of the word and therefore over use it.

2020-12-06 21:41:03 UTC

Good point

2020-12-06 21:41:14 UTC

That is true

2020-12-06 21:41:18 UTC

I agree

2020-12-06 21:41:18 UTC

The issue we have nowadays is the lack of critical thought, people just parrot what they hear and will almost never research things for themselves or draw their own conclusions based on their experiences.

2020-12-06 21:41:59 UTC

I'm curious, whaddya got?

2020-12-06 21:42:24 UTC

I will say the right is more likely to Research tho

2020-12-06 21:42:43 UTC

But both sides do it

2020-12-06 21:43:34 UTC

True, and it's why the left is beyond reason, but there are some in the right (extremists, mostly) who fall in this category.

2020-12-06 21:45:00 UTC

Yes but the number of extremists on the far right is like so low its funny

2020-12-06 21:45:30 UTC

I think our education system is mostly to blame, and the decline of the importance of families.

2020-12-06 21:45:39 UTC

Unlike number on far left which is really high

2020-12-06 21:46:06 UTC

U mean brainwashing oh sorry I mean college

2020-12-06 21:46:13 UTC

Yeah.

2020-12-06 21:46:42 UTC

I can't tell you how often I was called a bigot in history class in college.

2020-12-06 21:46:48 UTC

Happens when left prof are 85% of the teachers

2020-12-06 21:47:22 UTC

Funny how they want diversity just not diversity of thought

2020-12-06 21:47:35 UTC

Actually, the prof was great and encouraged debate and critical thought.... it was all from the blue-haired girl with the stickered hydroflask.

No joke

2020-12-06 21:47:46 UTC

Diversity of ethnicity, anyone who thinks for themselves though is a racist

2020-12-06 21:47:48 UTC

Ur lucky

2020-12-06 21:48:36 UTC

Most prof now a days push the liberal talking points

2020-12-06 21:49:12 UTC

dude i am about to boil over this!! I fucking hate our public education system for this reason. They will teach us all year long about every tainted thing the U.S. has done, not so much to educate us on why we should avoid repeating those mistakes, but make us feel ashamed of being called Americans. On the contrary, they will teach us about how wonderful the Mongolians, the Aztecs, and the Mesopotamians were. Never mind that they were all dadgum fucking pagans who sacrificed their children to fucking rocks and wood!! If someone does take the time to google more in preparation for class discussion and learns about this, our teachers just say something a long the lines of "oh well yes, no country is perfect, but these people were so advanced and progressive! And did you know that the Mongolians and the Spartans were the first to treat their women like equals?" They are even worse when we talk about CHICOM or the USSR. But America? Never mind that we have equal opportunity for everyone, fought a fucking revolution so that our people could be represented in their government, have property, and defend their lives and beliefs with whatever means necessary. Never mind that we fought one of the bloodiest wars the world has seen just to end slavery. Never mind that no country is more desirable to immigrants than America. America is just a bunch of self-interested business men who want to oppress minorities and conquer the world. Even when I was in Texas, our curriculum was this way because it was issued by the gov. and you know the commie insurrectionist got their hands all over that shit. 😡

2020-12-06 21:49:21 UTC

shit sorry for the rant.o-o

2020-12-06 21:49:24 UTC

Yeah, I was lucky. From what I heard, every other history prof was like you describe

2020-12-06 21:50:00 UTC

Sad part is are tax dollars are paying for it

2020-12-06 21:50:26 UTC

I don't blame you, I feel the same way, and it's caused me a lot of trouble in schooling.

2020-12-06 21:51:05 UTC

I bet being anything but liberal in school anymore is trouble

2020-12-06 21:51:18 UTC

dude, it so hard to keep my mouth shut in class.

2020-12-06 21:51:29 UTC

Govt overreach is the biggest problem right now imo.

2020-12-06 21:51:39 UTC

Here in Spain, you get used to it.

2020-12-06 21:51:40 UTC

Yes lil government

2020-12-06 21:51:45 UTC

you cant speak your mind. some guy tried to advocate for guns last year and they tore him to pieces.

2020-12-06 21:51:56 UTC

Dammmm

2020-12-06 21:52:35 UTC

I felt bad. I tried stepping in and moderating, and so did my econ teacher, but they just got nastier.

2020-12-06 21:52:40 UTC

I was told that I was advocating slavery when I said that if you grew up in Mississippi in 1800, you'd think it was normal.

2020-12-06 21:52:45 UTC

If I interrupted my philosophy teacher each time he threw shit on Trump, the class would never go past a lesson.

2020-12-06 21:52:50 UTC

😂

2020-12-06 21:52:56 UTC

They don't like it when u point out Obama cdc report showing guns lives 500k live at the min in a year

2020-12-06 21:53:00 UTC

I hate philosophy class.

2020-12-06 21:53:10 UTC

We just did Plato.

2020-12-06 21:53:13 UTC
