Thank you. When you want to talk honestly about an issue dealing with faith and religion then by all means come back.@sciguyspace

2020-11-21 16:53:13 UTC

Honestly the fact that you even had to say that is kinda funny.

2020-11-21 16:53:26 UTC

i agree

2020-11-21 16:53:27 UTC

Yep

2020-11-21 17:28:20 UTC

If you are a christian and I am a Christian then it's both of our job to keep each other accountable. It's not judging only God is worthy to judge

2020-11-21 17:32:19 UTC

You have free will, you can do whatever u want.

2020-11-21 17:33:22 UTC

However, you will be held accountable for your actions so I wouldn't advise doing whatever you want ; )

2020-11-21 17:34:24 UTC

Yes, John 3:16, God loves us all, but we should also love Him back. It's not a one sided relationship.

2020-11-21 17:38:08 UTC

@Christmas Bat Melinoë Those are writing in Hebrew and Geek. Geek has 4 different words for love. Maybe 3 words

2020-11-21 17:42:03 UTC

Human can't achieve perfectness. We need the help of God

2020-11-21 17:43:41 UTC

Amen to that. We have a free will, the freedom to choose what we want--but that does not extend to the consequences. Free to choose what we do, not free to choose the consequences.

2020-11-21 17:45:36 UTC

Even then there is no perfection to anyone human this side of the grave. God's help is for helping us live right, how we should, to grow, mature as Christians, to be more obedient and submissive to Him. But, perfection won't come until we're liberated from this corruptible flesh we're housed in.

2020-11-21 17:47:17 UTC

Guys I just want to apologise for posting the pope picture yesterday. I didn't expect this argument to happen. I'm sorry.

2020-11-21 17:49:39 UTC

The argument is fine if people will keep their heads and acknowledge things as they are, or at least civilly talk through things. You're not the cause of any problem--at least here for all I know! 🙂

2020-11-21 17:51:19 UTC

I agree with u about the pope, some people might not agree.

2020-11-21 17:52:35 UTC

If I recall what you said, I agree the Pope is a joke.

2020-11-21 17:52:56 UTC

Yes I did say that.

2020-11-21 17:53:26 UTC

I can’t see how someone can be homosexual and be a Christian.

2020-11-21 17:55:16 UTC

Right, like I said, it's contradictory. It's like saying Christian murderers or Christian bank robbers. Just tacking "Christian" on what is a sin, what the Bible identifies as a sin.

2020-11-21 17:56:27 UTC

What about ppl who identify as homosexual but haven't committed sexual acts. Do u think they are sinner? @DannyNC1

2020-11-21 17:57:38 UTC

I mean we’re all sinners no matter what.

2020-11-21 17:58:07 UTC

Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount handled about lust in the heart, showing it is equally as much of a sin as the act itself. But, like Rom. 3:23 shows, we are all sinners regardless.

2020-11-21 17:59:34 UTC

I know someone who doesn't do the act but has temptation.

2020-11-21 17:59:45 UTC

I think i remember reading about how god sees sin equally, and equally hates it.

2020-11-21 17:59:58 UTC

These folks need prayer and patient witnessing to them. There is a chance that they can come to God in salvation since Paul explained even people in Corinth had been homosexuals, but, 1 Cor. 6:11, "And such were some of you..." They got saved and turned from that.

2020-11-21 18:00:29 UTC

Me as a man, I’m tempted all the time with lust. Not acting on that lust is the hard part

2020-11-21 18:01:26 UTC

There are actually some things that would qualify to Him as being abominations, and they are some things we don't expect, though homosexuality as I explained is one of those. Prov. 6:16-19 shows seven things that are an abomination to Him, and lying is twice on the list.

2020-11-21 18:01:31 UTC
2020-11-21 18:01:53 UTC

All sin is bad because it separates us from a relationship with God. One sin or a million sins, same result

2020-11-21 18:02:27 UTC

That’s why we have to keep a short accounts with god and ask for forgiveness often

2020-11-21 18:02:29 UTC

@DannyNC1 hey off topic but do you know the 3 or 4 words of love in greek. I don't remember. I know one is agape

2020-11-21 18:02:31 UTC

@Milkgamer55 If you're a red-blooded male that is breathing, I think we all have a problem with it.

2020-11-21 18:02:50 UTC

Yes that is true

2020-11-21 18:03:21 UTC

Yes, but it really doesn't matter because they are used interchangeably in the Bible--the two main ones are agape and phileo. They aren't different types which can be proven from the text. Many people get that mistaken.

2020-11-21 18:03:27 UTC

Imagine believing biblical love means I must affirm and accept your every degenerate ways of life.

2020-11-21 18:04:08 UTC

Yes and the other is about sexual love and there also another too.

2020-11-21 18:04:13 UTC

Yeah, somehow people think the Biblical love means that, but don't realize that biblical love is preaching the Gospel to them that they need to be saved before it's too late--that involves calling out sin.
