Alright let’s let him respond lol

2020-12-20 06:50:38 UTC

God is the parent and we are the childs

2020-12-20 06:50:59 UTC

i am guilty. i don't want double-guilty by transferring my guilt over to someone else

2020-12-20 06:51:08 UTC

It's different interpretations and world outlook.

2020-12-20 06:51:42 UTC

That doesn't make you guilty when Jesus took them from you willingly.

2020-12-20 06:51:45 UTC

that's fair. but parents sometimes need to cast the child aside (or vice versa) for it to grow

2020-12-20 06:51:59 UTC

Yes, we do know. Trying isn’t the thing here. The Bible makes it clear that human “trying” is literally us running in the wrong direction. That said what awaits in Hell is suffering. Worse suffering than ever. If you’d like to know why then I could try to explain but I’m not fully educated on the matter

2020-12-20 06:52:14 UTC

God is the father that never leaves

2020-12-20 06:52:47 UTC

If God left us we would be so toast

2020-12-20 06:53:15 UTC

well. "worst suffering" and "eternal suffering" is a price we must pay as humans if we commit those sins. it's on us

2020-12-20 06:53:39 UTC

There is no double guilty. If you’re guilty of sinning then you are already guilty of being the reason Jesus died. That makes you an accessory. If you accept Jesus what He does is decide to forgive you for being the reason He died (in its simpler form)

2020-12-20 06:53:40 UTC

i'm not anywhere close to salvation 😂 i don't know if i can or will

2020-12-20 06:53:45 UTC

You don't have to pay the eternal suffering, Jesus paid the fine for your sins

2020-12-20 06:53:51 UTC

U right, and although a parent can pay for the damages a child makes (breaks a window), a child still needs to make some "pennance". So it isn't really a get out of jail free card.

2020-12-20 06:54:03 UTC

No,because you’re not understanding what “sin” truly is

2020-12-20 06:54:19 UTC

Thats where repentance comes in

2020-12-20 06:54:31 UTC

That's right

2020-12-20 06:54:45 UTC

We are to not only stop sinning but run the other way

2020-12-20 06:55:21 UTC

it felt wrong, though. i don't think i'm worthy for god/jesus to die for me just for i can enjoy good things

2020-12-20 06:55:21 UTC

I love how Jesus says "Go and sin no more"

2020-12-20 06:55:27 UTC

Man we gotta give him more time to respond lol

2020-12-20 06:56:53 UTC

it's not something you can pay back quickly and it's ingrained in our system. but in Buddhism people are allowed to be sinners, with all their flaws. but if they express regrets and remorse, they will be free earlier

2020-12-20 06:57:50 UTC

If you let a child sin with no disipline they will have no restraint to keep on sinning

2020-12-20 06:57:58 UTC

it isn't. but that's where we differ though. i think the "penance" should be paid by myself, god thinks the penance is asking for forgiveness

2020-12-20 06:58:29 UTC

I have to go to bed now tho its 2 am.

2020-12-20 06:58:39 UTC

Ok, none of us are worthy. We actually all feel that way. That said. Each individual’s sin is the reason that Jesus had to die. We all caused His death. When Jesus died it was so that we could be forgiven for being accessories to His murder. Jesus takes on our sin in that He becomes our lawyer. He shows how through one action we were REDEEMED. He doesn’t take on our guilt at the cross. Every Christian I know still feels that guilt and shame. What He DOES do is advocate on our behalf

2020-12-20 06:58:57 UTC

how do god or you yourself even know if your "ask for forgiveness" mean it? someone can ask for forgiveness 100 times sincerely but still go to hell

2020-12-20 06:59:20 UTC

Approaching sin from a Buddhist standpoint will not benefit anyone

2020-12-20 07:00:24 UTC

If you ask God to sincerely forgive you of all of your sins, and you ask this in Jesus name you don’t have to ask 100 times

2020-12-20 07:00:27 UTC

You are forgiven

2020-12-20 07:00:32 UTC

Christ is the scapegoat for our sins

2020-12-20 07:00:35 UTC

It is, we call it repenting. The act God forgives, the violation has to be atonned for. Especially when culpability plays into the mix.

2020-12-20 07:00:54 UTC

true. but then god forced our hands. forced jesus to die and left us with blood on our hands

2020-12-20 07:01:34 UTC

You yourself may know this by your actions. If you “sincerely” ask God to forgive you but continue acting how you did before you clearly weren’t sincere. If you strive to follow God’s Word and Will you will see that there was sincerity to your plea

2020-12-20 07:01:44 UTC

well. i don't necessarily believe in the christian or buddhist god, so i'm incline to disagree

2020-12-20 07:02:13 UTC

So it is based on good vs bad deeds scale?

2020-12-20 07:02:14 UTC

no. but how do you "know" if you're sincere enough?

2020-12-20 07:02:32 UTC

Ok, God didn’t force Jesus to do anything. Jesus is also God, and Jesus CHOSE to die for us. I’m not seeing how Hod forced our hands either. We have a choice

2020-12-20 07:03:17 UTC

in a way. you don't have the "good deeds will cancel out bad deeds". you have to go through and atone for every single bad deed you did

2020-12-20 07:03:52 UTC

There is no “sincere enough.” The term “enough” here does nothing. Everyone follows God at different paces, what matters is that we “finish the race.” As I said before, by your actions it will be known whether you were sincere or not

2020-12-20 07:03:55 UTC

In our bible, since the very beginning, God gave us a choice....we just chosed to screw it up. In his infinite power and wisdom he could've just put us on rails and dictated our every move and thoughts.
