You know, this reminds me of an experiment Ebay did with their website. For a while they had been running on a dark colored webpage but after some time they swapped the color to white and everyone who used the site freaked out over the change so they changed the color back, then they started slowly changing the color of the website pixel by pixel to black and no one noticed the change till it was already there and the people using the website were accustomed to it
