Except they did know. They knew exactly who was donating to them many times, and they still accepted. I understand why you might be concerned about the logistical feats that it would take. But the sheer lack of concern is astonishing, even when they knew they didnt care. Also this is a complete straw man. You mistakenly assume that I am stating that if even one sus donation gets through that receiver is moraly terrible. I know that tracking the last penny is a huge logistical feat. Im saying that when you get news that donations from high profile people such as know far right leaders are coming to you, you should actually give a dam instead of pretending you were never made aware.
