I'm pretty sure it was illegal to make

2018-12-12 04:34:12 UTC

They didn't exactly have handicams back then

2018-12-12 04:34:27 UTC

I mean I guess no one was gonna go after you for making a private sex tape for personal use

2018-12-12 04:34:28 UTC

The fastest I could get was 72 words per minute on a normal keyboard. https://www.typingtest.com/

Camera's were expensive and technical with film reels that needed to be developed

2018-12-12 04:34:47 UTC

@⚡Clark⚡ that's white r-right?

2018-12-12 04:36:53 UTC

@ThisIsChris I got 50 wpm after 3 beers and listening to a podcast, looking forward to another try tomorrow

2018-12-12 04:37:20 UTC

It's actually really hard to type an Aesop's fable when listening to a podcast

2018-12-12 04:38:13 UTC

@Flint I bet!

2018-12-12 04:43:45 UTC

72 is pretty fast though, not sure if I can reach that. Maybe I can push 55-60 tmrow

2018-12-12 04:44:17 UTC

Average is 36 wpm? I would think the average is higher than that

2018-12-12 04:53:56 UTC

I wonder if I should buy Julian von Abele's book.

2018-12-12 05:00:09 UTC

I'm going to, probably both--it's about $23 for both and hopefully sends a strong signal that this doxx stuff is over

2018-12-12 05:01:23 UTC

We're basically in a tug of war with these people who get harangued by the media and Universities. They try to make them bow, we try to show them how not to kneel, cuck, or apologize

2018-12-12 05:01:58 UTC

This'll keep happening until people stop cucking on whatever it is that brought the attention on them

2018-12-12 05:02:19 UTC

This week they got Kevin Hart's scalp (Oscar hosting stuff)

So far this Adele young man is the most defensible and most promising individual we've had get into hot water. Unconnected to any group, child prodigy, author, no crime, no bad history (in fact, the opposite)--if we can't get behind him we cannot get behind anyone.

2018-12-12 06:32:40 UTC

2018-12-12 06:32:45 UTC

2018-12-12 06:39:55 UTC

so... I just found out my friend has cancer

2018-12-12 06:40:07 UTC

what would you do to help in this situation?

2018-12-12 06:45:54 UTC

Just be a friend

2018-12-12 06:46:13 UTC

Terminal? Can it be treated?

2018-12-12 06:50:52 UTC

I don't know yet but thanks

2018-12-12 06:54:06 UTC

I had a friend get leukemia in late 2015. Every person is different as is every case. The reason I bring up my friend is because my instinct was to rush to their side and spend lots of time, but that's not what my friend wanted. They withdrew to really close family. They recovered and after we talked about it and while they appreciated my willingness to be attentive, they didn't want to to be socially overstimulated.

Your friend could be completely different. The point is, pay attention to what they want and don't be afraid to ask!

2018-12-12 06:54:30 UTC

Honestly, I worked in a hospital and had to go to the cancer institute often, the hospital gives them the treatment, but they really just need companionship, friends, and family outside of that.

2018-12-12 06:55:04 UTC

Or to feel normal

2018-12-12 06:55:56 UTC

Exactly. No one sane wants to feel like they're in a Nicholas Sparks movie.

2018-12-12 06:57:06 UTC

Thankfully no one I know has had cancer besides my dad, and he was relatiely OK, had surgery to get it removed and was all good afterwards

2018-12-12 06:57:58 UTC

Have been worried ever since it'll hit me early in life if at all

2018-12-12 07:00:00 UTC

Maybe TMI but it was testicular cancer so I really hope it doesn't hit me or at least not until I have a couple of kids

2018-12-12 07:01:43 UTC

I had a pal lose a nut to it, he still had two sons (they look like him, no funny business). Rough stuff though

2018-12-12 07:05:25 UTC

Pay close attention to all possible warning signs, of course

2018-12-12 07:05:52 UTC

Had a bit of a scare when I was 16, just some pain, ended up being nothing, but damn, was some scary stuff
