Good morning
I'd almost recommend people go just to get a feel for that emotion- it really helps to crystalize our thoughts about all of this.
@Isabella Locke-MT good morning!

I'm about to go through the opposite, lol. When my boy is born in January I probably won't be on as much
Completely understandable though. Wish you much luck with your child!
Is this your first?
Yep.
Oh wow- how're you feeling?
Amused. He always starts wiggling right after I eat and I just had some breakfast so now I'm watching my stomach move like in the Alien movies
I was in Paris when I was like 12 and it was already Africa tier
@Isabella Locke-MT when are you due if you don't mind sharing?
But I have a feeling he might be a little early
we'll see
You had breakfast at 3:50 AM?
My husband wakes up at 3 to get ready for work. Usually I'll eat a little something while he gets ready and then go back to sleep for 3-4 hours
I hope everything goes smoothly for you and the baby. I recall when my son was born. My wife was in labor for 23 hours 😫
First labors are usually pretty long
23 oof
But then your body gets the hang of it
My mom's first (me) was a c-section, and her second was only 4 hours
she got off easy
When you have a wife and kids, you want to avoid c-section as much as possible
iirc scheduling c-sections was very en vouge in the 90s
because it let doctors schedule when their patients would give birth
C-sections will put you out longer. I was under the assumption that once you had one you could not have another baby delivered naturally.
Since you're cutting the uterus or wte
No, it's very possible to do a VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section)
But most doctors don't want to do it
and will fight you on it tooth and nail
I guess that's why they decided to discourage us from even getting a c-section in the first place
Yes, if at all possible, vaginal is better
