Only thing I agree with liberals over, if an elementary school of kids getting shot didn't change anything then nothing will.
"“This has been festering for years,” he said. His best guess was that Senator Paul, a libertarian and believer in property rights, provoked the incident by blowing lawn trimmings from his yard into that of his alleged assailant, Rene Boucher"
If true
comedy gold
Guy is a nutter, why believe his version?
If only someone else in the school had been armed. Even the threat of there being an armed individual would've deterred a shooter. Because they're cowards. If we get rid of soft targets and stop training people to be victims, acts of aggression will decrease.
Cops were incompetent as shit, doubt an armed security gaurd or teacher would have fixed it.
Rand "I can't stand" Paul
The police are underpaid and undertrained, not to mention they're normal people with self-preservation instincts. So yeah, of course they were reluctant to run into an active shooting situation, and people died for that.
But Jim Skaggs, who developed the gate-guarded community in Bowling Green where Paul and Boucher both live, suggests that there was longstanding tension between Paul and many of his neighbors, including Boucher, due to the Senator's inability to compromise on such matters as lawn-trimmings, overhanging tree branches, and the community's extensive Homeowners Association guidelines, which minutely prescribe how people in the community must conduct themselves.
HomeOwners Association are fucking cancerous. They hounded my grandmother for MONTHS on end because her mailbox was the fucking wrong shade of green
I would never live in HMA neighborhoods. Neverfuckingever
HOAs are a super retarded example of people getting more and more isolated. What the fuck happened to just talking to your neighbors?
It's a way for people to shadily keep "unwanted elements" out of their neighborhood, while also jacking up property values and rent for the people living there.
I have a friend who lives in a HOA complex, and he pays over 150 bucks a MONTH in HOA fees.
Christ, why didn't he just nope out of the place?
Because finding a new place to live in the city is literal hell
Thank fuck my GF's parents put a down payment down on a house for us, otherwise we'd be apartment plebs still
>own a house
>with a gf
I'm curious how that worked without a marriage.
<:hahayes:330459104495665153>
marriage scares the fuck outta me man
My mother's brother just had his wife walk out on him
didn't argue, had a flight booked months in advance
Not sure if she just left him with 3 kids to raise or she really wants a divorce
Your uncle.
Yeah
Had a job, Not an alcoholic, not a wife beater, let her be a homemaker
No issue with the kids, etc
That was kind of weirdly phrased, and just hope she disappears. Sucks for the kids but if she fights it then he's going to lose.
Oh if she fights, he loses
No matter what circumstance, it's the law at this point
Plus she didn't hold a job, so that's easy money
Even if she doesn't want the kids she can extort him for money.
Uncle gets along with his two sisters, not a misogynist, nor a push-over because he works in the trades
oh well
What's the wife's family like? Cunt like that doesn't fall far from the tree.
Uneducated, in the boonies
Might be a blessing, if they were educated your uncle would be bled dry by now.
See, this is why I'm so reluctant to do the whole marriage thing: I want to be in this relationship because I want to be here, not because I'll get my life ruined legally if I decide it isn't working
Kind if threw that out the window when her parents bought you a house...
