2017-11-11 23:12:04 UTC
2017-11-11 23:12:15 UTC

i won't have enough space in my E11 Corolla fam

2017-11-11 23:14:06 UTC

Ryzen imo is still better even if you're not into productivity

2017-11-11 23:14:13 UTC

Because multitasking and streaming

2017-11-11 23:14:38 UTC

that's my point though

2017-11-11 23:14:39 UTC

>streaming

2017-11-11 23:14:43 UTC

are you gay

2017-11-11 23:14:43 UTC

how many people actually stream

2017-11-11 23:15:04 UTC

I don't always mean Twitch livestreaming. I've seen a lot more people screensharing and just showing their friends stuff.

2017-11-11 23:15:17 UTC

Not to mention price/performance

2017-11-11 23:15:44 UTC

Sure, 7700K beats 1600X in almost every game, but it's $100 more and loses in just about everything else.

2017-11-11 23:16:14 UTC

90% of pc gamign threads i see are just fanboys shilling their favorite megacorporation

2017-11-11 23:16:26 UTC

jesus

2017-11-11 23:16:29 UTC

I don't give a fuck about either company.

2017-11-11 23:16:34 UTC

i was really surprised

2017-11-11 23:16:41 UTC

but the 8600K is a great product

2017-11-11 23:16:52 UTC

I'm just giving credit where credit is due. Ryzen was a good release and finally put Intel on the ropes instead of just freely shafting everyone.

2017-11-11 23:16:59 UTC

exactly

2017-11-11 23:17:03 UTC

without ryzen 8600k wouldn't happen

2017-11-11 23:17:16 UTC

i'm going with Ryzen 2 to replace my current Lynnfield build

2017-11-11 23:17:29 UTC

Wat

2017-11-11 23:17:34 UTC

i5-750

2017-11-11 23:17:40 UTC

i like the code name

2017-11-11 23:17:46 UTC

8600K is 6/6 for $60 more than R5's 6/12

2017-11-11 23:18:04 UTC

It's the same story. Slightly better single-threaded for worse multi-threaded at greater cost.

2017-11-11 23:18:09 UTC

but also single core beating shit out of ryzen

2017-11-11 23:18:21 UTC

i'd say 60$ is worth for a 300$ product

2017-11-11 23:20:10 UTC

I'm just saying. Even if I wasn't someone into productive applications, I'd still go with 1600X. It's *less* money for a product that performs slightly worse in popular titles and is due to not only get better with greater core optimization in the future, but also in case I ever change my mind and get into something that can actually use those threads.

2017-11-11 23:20:55 UTC

sure is :3

2017-11-11 23:21:10 UTC

i'm gonna be heavier on productivity hopefully

2017-11-11 23:21:14 UTC

that's why ryzen 2

2017-11-11 23:22:27 UTC

My logic probably isn't all-seeing, but that's the situation as far as I can tell.

2017-11-11 23:22:33 UTC

>heavier on productivity
