It's probably true that Antifa or Antifa types triggered it, but at the same time if it didn't happen we would be in almost the same position. We're pretty late into being silenced, banned, censored and removed from the public space to blame it all on this. It definitely accelerated the crackdown, but little to no minds were changed, and no one was ever going to touch the election investigation anyway besides maybe Ted Cruz. All it did was show us in plain colors how the Repubs really felt about us all along.
